this is a really good sounding system. I've owned some older desktop speaker from Logitech like Z623 and z2300 I've also owned many higher-end car audio speakers like Focal K2p, Alpine type X 17pro, MB Q. With this system i can hear things that i've previously not heard. I like being able to control the volume with my keyboard vs reaching for a knob, this is made possible via usb connection. The downside is it seems to be only operating at 16bit 48000 hz. but it sounds fine, if it didn't sound good i would have returned it. This set is for closer range listening, and it sounds great for that intended purpose. It makes me want to buy Klipsch for my next home audio system even though i want to try ribbon tweeters.

Solid Desktop Speaker; but the mids were a bit muddy. I had to turn them down in order to listen to audiobooks.
