I bought this sub to replace a 10-inch, 100 watt Polk sub and noticed a difference immediately! The bass absolutely filled the room, without sounding muddy or boomy, and did not lack for volume. Long story short, if you're thinking about getting this sub to listen to music or watch movies in a small-to-medium sized room then you will not be disappointed. I mainly use my system for watching movies so I ran it through a barrage of demos. One scene in particular really demonstrated the versatility of this sub; Batman vs. Bane in the sewer from "The Dark Knight Rises". This might not be the first scene that comes to mind when demoing a sub but trust me, it is perfect for testing precision and nuance; the subtle, constant rumble of water in the background; the deep, padded thump of punches traded by the characters; the imposing echo of Bane's footsteps against the metal grate; and finally the thunderous boom when he blows the explosive charges and rubble comes crashing down around our hero. This sub proved that it could handle more than just being low and loud. Demos continued: Mad Mad: Fury Road, the opening of Bumblebee, Kong: Skull Island, Ghost in the Shell, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Master and Commander, the list goes on and on and it performed stellar on all of them. The only time the limits of this sub seemed to catch up to it was the opening rumbles of Blade Runner: 2049, a formidable demo indeed. And that's not to say that the low end or volume was an issue but there was quite a bit of reverberation from the sub itself, which can be a bit distracting. Even then, it may have just been the structural integrity of my basement failing and not the speaker itself. So to reiterate, this is a beast of sub that is 100% worth the money (especially if you can get it on sale).

Excellent sound! Much better than my Polk. Easy to install and works with direct TV, Pandora, and all app you can think of such as Netflix. Sale price was great too! Comes in 10 inch and 12 inch. 10 inch was more than enough.

I purchased the Klipsch 10” 150w sub after my 12” 125w Polk sub was fried by a lightening strike - yes, it does happen. Make sure your coaxial cables are protected by surge protectors. Lightening struck a home four houses away from us but traveled the cable lines throughout the neighborhood. I was concerned that the Klipsch speaker wouldn’t be large enough even though it was 25w more than the Polk. However, the quality of the sound is big and awesome! I really became convinced once I received and paid for a $125 replacement circuit board for my old Polk. I now have both subs hooked up to my home theater system. The sound quality from this Klipsch is so much better than the Polk. Both are decent, but the Klipsch is really outstanding. I could have returned the Klipsch to Best Buy, but I decided to keep it and rattle the dishes in the upstairs cabinets by utilizing both speakers. My son loves playing his PS games with these bad boys hooked up...you feel like you’re in the battle field...seriously intense! I would purchase the Klipsch again before buying another Polk,

Love this subwoofer. Was looking for something with nice deep bass. Klipsch completed what I was looking for without breaking the pocket. There are many great subs out there. If your looking for something to put in a small/medium sized living room then this is what you need. This sub can be heard throughout my entire house. Couldn't ask for any better. This is a MUST BUY. Recomend to anyone.

Excellent addition to my audio setup. This sub outputs deep bass , really compliments my infinity bookshelf speakers . Will not distort at higher volume after initial Breakin period . Bought Black Friday for half the price $199.99 cant really beat black Friday prices . if you really want to hear thundering smooth bass this is the one for you.

This thing really kicks, had to turn it way down as it was rattling everything in the house when I first connected it to my small system (Denon RCD-N10, Focal 605 bookshelf speakers). Very happy with the purchase.

Purchased this to connect to an Amazon Echo Dot so my whole house music would have some bass. It works perfect. I also have the Klipsch 12” for my normal surround sound. These are by far the best subs for the money.
