Cabinet build excellent speaker driver excellent. This subwoofer will rattle your walls. Just wouldn't recommend it for DJing the amp a little weak. Was playing some bass music and the amp got a little hot you could smell it as well as the press board smell of the new Cabinet. Just be careful if you play a lot of deep bass notes for long periods of time the amp gets a little warm if you do this continuously it gets overdriven. I love live loud music but was wanting more bass in my system it delivered. The system I have delivers 425 watts x 5 continuous. But I'm not your average listener I love live loud music non distorted and this subwoofer can do that.

I previously had been using a 10in. Klipsch RSW100 but wanted something that could hit harder and reach even lower frequencies. I found my answer with this monster of a subwoofer! This amp is a force to be reckoned with. I can feel my hair stand up from how good this thing sounds. The control knobs on the back are easy the read and use and are even designed to allow the user to not have to pull the unit away from the wall to adjust. Be warned that this sub is super heavy weighing in just over 80 lbs. It even shipped via frieght and had to be unloaded with a forklift when I picked it up at a local warehouse. Found it onsale and financed for 24 months. Hopefully the last sub I'll ever need. Very happy with my purchase!!

Klipsch has done a tremendous job rebuilding their new line of Subwoofers, Just purchased Klipsch 1400 to pair it with my B&W 700 Series 3 Floor standing speakers and Marantz Cinema 40...oh boy, with 50% volume to these beasts, you will fall of your chairs. You can feel the difference even in low volumes and these can go below 20Hz as well. Just love it.

Impulse response is very quick and impactful. Very smooth frequency response down to ~16hz without any major peaks or dips after using DIRAC. Shakes the whole room- puts a giant smile on my face. Klipsch has come a long way with their sub lineup.

Incredible deep bass that you feel throughout the room without having everything rattle around you. I give them the edge over my SVS subs

If zero stars were possible then this particular shipment would win that award. The product was stolen in transport. Best Buy should do a better job of verifying their shippers. Best Buy did finally refund the purchase price.

Im using an onkyo rz50 with the sub set to +2.5db, and I still have to set the volune to 7 to get good base. Other knob set to lfe . So you will need to push it a bit over 6.5 ..at least with my recievers sub output to get some thump out of it.
