The camera worked really well for what I needed. I was taking a trip out of the country to Japan, it was easy to figure out how to navigate and had settings that were easy to figure out. If you are into vlogging it also has a really good recording setting that I used to make Youtube vlogging videos the sound was actually pretty clear. It has a sligh vintage look to final phots but its overall really great and served its purpose.

Such a fun camera worth the price! Lightweight and slender enough to fit in a sunglasses bag. I carried this camera around a vacation to St Louis and Chicago and the pictures were so cute. I looked up fun settings for this camera on tiktok and it made my images so much more vibrant. The front facing screen is a game changer. I bought an SD card to USB-c connecting device for $30 and was able to upload all my photos to my phone instantly.

This is a small portable snapshot camera that is an economical option verses using a high-end mobile phone to take everyday pictures. Old school design body with some updated features like the 180-degree flip-up display for beginning vloggers or content creators and for taking selfies. There is an assortment of settings that are interesting like Color Pencil, Sketch, along with ta variety of Partial Color Schemes. And being able to capture 1080p video is a nice option to have onboard. Finally, you can capture photos in either a 16x9 or 4x3 format, each with two megapixel quality choices. Pictures are of average quality and I did have a somewhat difficult time capturing sharp photos since there is no onboard stabilization. You need to be very careful with holding this small camera steady due to any slight movement will blur your photos. Just depressing the shutter button was sufficient to impede stability causing many of my photos to be discarded. Note that indoors turning on the flash does help. The 13MP BSI CMOS sensor is more than adequate for this type of camera. Not including optical zoom capabilities, only a 4x digital zoom, is expected in a device this size and at this price point. The 26mm Fixed Focus Lens is wide angle and using the digital zoom may just get the photo in frame that you want. Or just crop it later… Other positive features are a rechargeable internal Lithium-ion battery with supplied wall charger and a USB-A to USB-C cable. The cable can also be used to download your pictures from the camera to a computer to eliminate the removal of the MicroSD card. A carrying cord is included and I would highly recommend its use to prevent accidental dropping. The one missing item for an immediate out-of-box experience is the media; a MicroSD card up to 32GB is required. Kodak does market this camera in a bundle with an microSD card, a case, and some other goodies for a higher price point. For those of us who already have a few microSD cards lying around, not including one for less money is win-win. And I don’t really see the need for a case since this small camera will fit easily in your pocket.

Kodak PIXPRO C1 Digital Camera is the cutest camera I've ever owned! Granted it's been a while since I took a photo on a camera but my smartphone has too many photos and videos taking up the memory space. So, this was a great opportunity to try an actual digital camera for the first time in about 20 years. I was pleased that most of the functions were just like my old digital camera, so it felt very familiar and was easy to get started. I read the enclosed manual but recommend reading the more extended version of the manual (72 pages long) by downloading it from the QR code. My favorite feature of Kodak PIXPRO is the tilt LCD - it helps with taking selfies. I also LOVE that it's so slim and lightweight. It takes very little room in my small purse or I can slip it in a side pocket of my yoga pants without having it weigh down. I knew that this camera didn't come with a microSD card that is required, so I bought one in advance but it would be helpful to note that somewhere more visible in the description, like 'memory card not included'. The enclosed manual stated that the max size is 32GB (my card is supposed to have the capacity of 240 photos and 100 videos) but the downloadable manual mentioned 4GB to 1.5TB, so not sure which one is accurate. I also have a suggestion for BestBuy to show the list of microSD cards available closer to the product description, instead of listing further down on the page as 'Customers often buy these together'. The camera seemed fully charged out of the box but the manual said otherwise and suggested to fully charge for at least four hours. The photo quality is not as sharp as the photos I take with my smarphone but it's fine for my personal use. Overall, this is a great camera for someone who wants to keep their photos off their phones and experience the retro way of taking photos. I highly recommend it!
