This little machine brought decades-old memories back to life. In just a few hours, I digitized an entire carousel. The interface is intuitive and straightforward, and the default scans already look great. When needed, the built-in brightness and RGB controls make quick, precise fixes. For the truly tricky shots, I used artificial intelligence models for a final polish. Absolutely worth it.

Purchased back in Oct 2025 to view old family slides Found it very easy to setup and use.Having a 7 inch display that swivels made viewing very good. Having sd card slot and hdmi output very convent for viewing on larger screen and storage.Being lightweight makes taking it anywhere is a very convenient As with Kodak products found device quality to be top notch.tThe screen quality was great for a device in this price range Very easy to load slides and film negatives .

I wouldn’t expect anything less from Kodak, but this device does exactly what it is supposed to do and is very easy to use. I am very impressed with the finished quality. A negative or slide is only as good as the camera that took it, but the product from this scanner looks like an original digital pic. I recommend spending the extra bucks for the 7” screen as I did.

This slide scanner works well. The problem was the instructions were vague and did not explain well. The icons are a bit cryptic and hard to decipher. Words would have been a better choice.

I have tried numerous other slide & negative scanners and this one is the best yet! It delivers high resolution images. Easy to feed the negatives and slides through to align perfectly, and the scanning is fast. The settings functions are an added benefit!

Good scanner for Film and Slides. Curved film will get stuck when first inserting into guide as curved edge hits exit side of the guide. Have to take holder out of scanner to manually flatten the leading edge. Scans, both B&W and Color are excellent.

nice little scanner. I'd for sure get the 7 inch screen for better viewing. I zipped through scanning hundreds of negatives and slides which I was then able to download to computer. You will need a SD card which does not come with machine. It's shortcoming is that it doesn't do 120 film negatives and I sure wish it did.

This scanner works as advertised. Scans are very quick. The scan resolution won't accommodate significant enlargements, but to archive old slides it's a significant time saver. Lighting and color tone adjustments are helpful. Easy and fast to use.

Takes a long time to digitize one 35mm roll of film since each requires movement and manual confirmation to record. The resolution seems grainy when viewed on PC, iPad or iphone.
This review is from Kodak - Slide N Scan Digital Film Scanner with 7" LCD Screen - Black

works well for the intended purpose. my only complaint is that it's unfortunate it only comes with a usb cord and not a wall plugin adapter.

It"s a great slide sorter and scanner from Kodak. I know I made the right choice with the help of the Best Buy technician on duty. Many thanks.

Not really a fan of this. It is hard to keep the negatives in place and get a good picture.

Awesome lil tool. I wish there was information letting me know I needed a scan disc for it. Having a laptop will also be necessary.

It has been about a month and all seems to go well with our scanner. It is what it was described as to be. We are very pleased with it.
