This was a very good keyless choice. So far it works very well. I have not had any issues. The power went out and it still functioned without any hiccups. I love the fact that you can set different access codes and time for different folks. You can also see in the app when folks and especially children are coming and going. I did put the spare key into the lockbox we previous had outside just in case. But, I don't see ever having an issue. Especially as long as you change the batteries when it give you an alert to do so.

The Wi-Fi keypad quickset deadbolt works fantastic! You can unlock it with a key or assign codes to different users. The key pad buttons are traditional buttons so don't have to worry about the sun hitting a touch screen pad. If I'm laying in bed and forget to lock it I can use the app to lock it or let someone in when I'm not home. It's a great lock!

Battery draining very quickly very poor electronically

It does,the job well, with several handy features. We like the triple unlock options: key, code and app. Using the app to unlock is handy when your hands are full. The code is handy for the kid's or visitor's access, with a unique code for each. The app was just updated to reduce the number of notifications by allowing better tailoring of the ones you want instead of just ALL. It is a bit noisey when it cycles, so not for quiet entry or exit. It would gst 5 stars if quieter. The batteries don't last long in our busy household but are easy to replace. It takes standard alkaline AA batteries only which can be the longevity issue, and the manual states specifically to NOT use Lithium or Rechargeable batteries (something to do with battery voltage per online).

I installed this in a rental condo to allow renters and cleaning crew simple access. Overall it went in easily. Fortunately the door was well mounted so the slide worked easily the first time. The installation app is ok, not great. I got it up and working in a couple of hours. I ran into one really big issue that is unique to my setup. My wireless is community supplied and I have to know the MAC address to load it into the app before I can connect. Most devices have it either printed on the device or have it displayed on the installation app ( thank you nest!) this device does not. So right now I don’t have remote access to the device. I think I have a work around to get it, but have not had a chance to do it (one website recommended connecting to an intermediary laptop that was already connected to the wireless to get to the MAC address using a network analyzing app)

Product as such looks good. Installation Manuel is straight forward. It was easy to install. It works great. One thing I noticed is the battery consumption. Product manufacturers should concentrate on the battery usage.

Installation was easy. It works great. It doesnt randomly lock itself while open and damage our door area like the two previous locks we bought from Yale/Nest and August. I love the fact that there is a keyed entry option and this is a company that actually makes physical door locks. Our prior two were from less experienced companies and had no physical unlock mechanism. We literally had to drill them off the door when they failed.

The design and ease of use are great. Mostly simple to install, rekey and program. Connected easily to google home. The only negative is its somewhat loud when the lock/unlock are activated, but for the sake of safety that could be a good thing.

Easy to install and was a replacement of a previous keypad deadbolt. App is easy to use and install along the physical installation of the deadbolt, however took a few attempts to get the bluetooth to connect.

So far pretty good. Not as elegant as some of the other locks but seems to get the job done. The app is great.

I loved the concept of opening the door with my phone and just a passcode. However, the battery life is terrible. To open the door with Wi-Fi is spotty at best. I wish it worked a bit better and the batteries lasted longer. Otherwise it works alright.

Trust the Kwikset brand. I like the features on this smart lock, touchscreen, WiFi etc. Easy to install.

Seems like the trend moving electronic screens to enter codes on smart locks (instead of actual number keys). I like the actual keys better for some reason. Also, the fact that you can use a physical key to open is a plus. Even more, it uses Kwikset's rekey technology. Easy to install.

So far so good. Easy to setup and use. Only downside seems to be battery life, averaging 4 months at this time.

Sometimes, the lock will lose bluetooth connection to my phone for no reason. And the battery life is bad. No matter what type of batteries l put in them, l get a little over 30 days before they get to 30%. And when they get to 30%. It will die very rapidly, and eventually, you can not operate it.

Purchased the much more expensive yale one first. Was a no go. Had a kwik one for a good 10 years that gave out but was perfect for long time. So that is why i chose this one. So glad. Works so precise every time. Very easy. Very wuick to u lovk w phone if you want. Lets me know when unlocked/locked. Also i wanted option for key even though i never tou h my keys fir anything.

Killed 3 sets of 4 batteries within 60 days. I followed the instructions on what to do if it was wasting batteries, and it did not solve the problem. Fortunately my membership allowed me to return it after giving it a long enough chance before I figured out it was not worth it. The motor that closes the bolt was also much louder than my Utec. Too bad Best Buy doesn't carry that brand.

Works very good. Very easy to install, set up and connect to wifi.
