I'm using this LaCie external hard drive as one of two means to back up the data on a MacBook Air using Time Machine on a daily basis. There have been no issues with this drive.

Good, solid drive with fast data transfer rates. Rubber case is good feature to give drive some size as some external SSD drives can be quite small. Only 2 downsides is the protective cover for USB port is not attached to drive, and enclosed cable is quite short.

Works perfectly. Love how fast it is. And taking it with me on the road and not worrying about dropping it is a huge deal.

This was so easy to use. I was able to back up all my files in minutes. I like the color, as it makes it easy to stand out among all my chargers and wires. It is portable in size and I like that it is rugged and will not be easily damaged in a drawer.

Great in-store staff, but the online Marketplace is a headache.** I wanted to share a warning for anyone shopping on the Best Buy website. I recently bought a product that ended up being from a **3rd-party Marketplace seller** rather than Best Buy itself. ### The Good: I have to give credit to the **in-store staff**. When I brought the item in to try and resolve the issue, the employees were very helpful and friendly. They tried their best to assist me, but unfortunately, their system literally won't allow them to process returns for items sold by outside companies. It’s not their fault, and I appreciated their attitude! ##The "Buyer Beware: The problem is that Best Buy’s website makes it very easy to accidentally buy from a third party. If you need to return that item, you are stuck dealing with that specific seller—not Best Buy. * **No easy store returns:** You can't just drop it off at the counter. * **Different Rules:** You’re at the mercy of the 3rd party’s specific return policy and shipping costs. **My Advice:** I still like shopping at the physical stores, but if you’re buying online, make sure it says **"Sold & Shipped by Best Buy"** so you don't get stuck in return limbo.

The classic, the standard. Great hard drives, compatible with Mac, reliable and almost never crash. Only minor complaint is that I've found some other hard drives that transfer files a little faster.
