About this product
The LP LP1501 Cajon Pedal is designed to convert a standard cajon into a foot-operated kick-style percussion instrument, allowing players to add bass drum-like functionality while keeping their hands free for other playing techniques. It uses a cable-driven pedal system with a 3-foot cable that supports smooth and quiet operation, along with adjustable spring tension and beater angle to accommodate different playing preferences and setups. The mounting plate is designed to fit most standard-size cajons, making it adaptable to a variety of instruments without modification. Its wood-core beater is designed to provide a natural response that resembles hand-style cajon playing, helping maintain familiar tonal characteristics when used with foot control.
Features
Hands-Free Cajon Performance Expansion
Transforms a standard cajon into a foot-operated kick-style instrument, allowing players to add consistent bass rhythms without using their hands. This setup supports more complex percussion arrangements by freeing the hands for additional instruments or techniques, making it useful for solo performers, acoustic setups, or multi-instrument configurations where rhythm layering is needed.
Smooth Quiet Cable Driven Pedal Control
Features a 3-foot cable-driven pedal system designed to provide smooth and controlled foot action with minimal mechanical noise. This allows for cleaner performance in acoustic environments, practice spaces, or low-volume settings where excessive pedal noise can be distracting, while still maintaining responsive control for accurate timing and rhythmic expression during play.
Adjustable Feel For Personalized Playability
Includes adjustable spring tension and beater angle settings, allowing players to fine-tune the resistance and striking position of the pedal system. This flexibility helps match different playing styles and comfort preferences, whether a lighter response or firmer feel is preferred, ensuring more controlled dynamics and better alignment with individual performance techniques.
Natural Response Wood Core Beater Design
Equipped with a wood-core beater designed to deliver a more natural playing response when striking the cajon surface. This construction helps simulate a hand-like impact feel, allowing for a more familiar cajon tone and articulation when using foot control, which supports expressive playing and maintains the instrument’s traditional percussive character.
Universal Cajon Fit For Flexible Setup Use
Designed with a mounting plate that fits most standard-sized cajons, making it adaptable to a wide range of instruments without requiring modifications. This allows for easy integration into existing percussion setups, whether for live performances, studio sessions, or practice environments, helping players expand their configuration with minimal setup adjustments.
