Following up on the massive success of Lee Fields recently released full length InchIt Rains LoveInch we drop another 45 for the DJs and collectors. This time showing off two different sides of Lee & The Expressions range. The A side InchWake UpInch is Lee's heavy duty, drum driven, anthemic tune for the times. Fields calls out the highly over-used and abused term of the current presidency Inchfake news.Inch Over a hard as nails sound bed courtesy of The Expressions he goes on asking people to wake up and not let this propaganda sway them from knowing what is right and wrong. The B side InchYou're What's Needed In My LifeInch is a gushing testament to the beauty of love. Solidifying his title as the Professor of Love it's almost like he's writing your girl's valentine for you. In the wake of their new album Expansions Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band drop another must have two-sider.On the A side they take on the J DIlla produced Slum Village club banger InchRaise It UpInch and give it the BRSB treatment. SV fans will lose their S**t when this comes on. Heads will be nodding from the first beat of the opening drum break and when they start playing the top line on the pans it's a wrap. Now that they have your attention they take the tune and expand on it changing the arrangement and lacing it with brass and guitar parts that keep pushing the tune to higher and higher levels of energy. The B finds BRSB taking on the infamous Galt MacDermot tune InchSpaceInch. Made famous in the hip hop world when it was sampled for Busta Rhyme's classic InchWoohah Got You All In CheckInch it is about to receive another boost from Bacao's version. Both sides of this 7Inch are going to be mainstays in DJ sets for years to come. Album Tracks 1. Raise It Up 2. Space
