Super entretaining set. Easy directions. Placed on convenient scenery

Dont get me wrong, this is a cool set. In fact it is the only set I have purchased and built as an adult 32 years old. Its actually made me realize my unhealthy love for Lego. That being said, you will finish it and realize you want a full pyramid, so do yourself a favor and buy two so you dont have to wait. The most annoying part was that Ace Ventura delivered the package it seems. The box was all but open so I am glad the actual lego box had minor damage. I am going to order my second one so hopefully Ace will calm down and ensure I am not missing any pieces. Also, the way Lego has you combine the kits is dumb and will leave you with two nile rivers. You can find a better way with a quick google search.

This set is actually one half of the pyramid. One can get twe sets to get the full pyramid shape, and attach them together (Lego instructions show how). What's fun about this set is that the outer shell of the pyramid can be removed and shows the inner part of the pyramid with some tunnels and chambers, which is in terracotta color, not in white as the outside of it. Having one half the pyramid if an effective way to be able to keep it in a shelf.

I'm assuming since you're reading this you are interested in purchasing the Lego Great Pyramid of Giza set, but for some reason, you're unsure about your purchase. Maybe you've put it in your cart and removed or "saved for later" a few times, hesitant to pull the trigger. Let me answer some common questions in hopes you will get to bask in the presence of a miniature historic structure as I have for the past few months. -How big is it? Well, it's about the width and depth of a laptop. Big enough to let you enjoy the details but not so big that you have to buy property in the desert to display it. -Is it difficult to assemble? If you can follow instructions without words and are at least 10 years old, it's not too bad. -Does it have any cool features? Yes! You can remove the top and see the inner workings of a real Egyptian pyramid and how they built it. It also allows you to change some of the signs to hieroglyphics, which I assume are accurate, but am not completely sure since I don't know how to speak hieroglyphics. -Does it carry a curse? What a weird question you weirdo. Of course not. Curses aren't real. Geez. -Is it worth the price? I mean, probably. Sure. It's worth it. -Seriously, is it cursed? For real? What's your deal? No. It's probably not cursed. -Why did you say "probably not" this time? I don't know. Any other questions? -No. I think I'll take a chance on the curse. It looks cool! You're right. It is worth the curse. Hope that helps!

Super Fun build a lot or repetitive steps. I like the half pyramid but I think I'm going to purchase another and connect them to make it whole like the book suggest.

This pyramid was a birthday gift for my son. He thought it was great. Only disappointed part was the original box it came in was damaged on the 2 of the corners. & top was creased most likely from the theft cables they use in the store. This item was shipped from Ohio to Wisconsin. To my sons house. That being said. The Lego box would be worth more if it wasn’t defective. Which was a bummer. He did still keep it & put set together. Hopefully for future shipments the packers are more careful!!

This is done well. I was worried it would just end up being a pyramid on a slab of black Legos, but it is a cut-away with a removable top piece so you can see the pathways that get built inside the model. The exterior has a nice Nike setup with different trees and plants plus a smaller pyramid and other riverside features. Nice touch having the title piece in hieroglyphics or English.

Easy and fun to build. Buying the second one should be made for it versus a mirror image of it.

Purchased as a gift for my grandmother, who is obsessed with Egyptian stuff. She's having a blast taking her time to assemble it with the help of some of her great-grandchildren
