If you have a little one just needing some blocks, get 3-4 of these and that'll be enough for almost anything they want to build. The other expensive sets are still nice because they have characters and vehicles, but if you just want a bunch of blocks to play with, go with these.

You can not go wrong when it comes to Lego. While this looks like it would be a huge set because of the size of the box, there aren't quite as many as it would seem. With 484 pieces, it fits in line with the price you pay, but just seems like it would contain more. It is a great set and makes it easy to store since you have a new storage box. I do wish the box top fit better so they don't spill out quite as easily, but it is pretty iconic!

My kids loves this lego. Was a good deal and worth the price

My kids have hours of fun, and continue to do so with the set. There are really no rules. You can build the little trains with it oh, but you don't have to. You can use the set anyway you want. We love it. My kids come up with all kinds of weird things with this Lego set. It was ridiculously cheap and Best buy of all places.

Spent a good couple days with nephew putting the small sets together and “customizing” to what he likes. Instructions for the sets are also available on Lego.com if not in the instruction booklet. Having the bucket big enough to hold the built sets is also plus. Best Buy shipping was fast and free

Great size and variety for my 3 year old. Keeps him occupied for hours. Do wish it had wheels so could make cars and trucks. Was a deal of the day and still worth the $$.

This is a great box of Legos with a variety of colors and pieces. It comes with instructions for a few builds as well as a link for more builds online. Would definitely recommend.

My kids have a very creative mind. They've been entertained for hours!!! I love old school blocks, it allows them to use their minds and not build something specific.

great set and nice storage box. The LEGO's don't take up a lot of room in the box so there's room to add more. The lid doesn't snap into place which is fine for us.

This was a good buy because there was a mix of different pieces. It is a great for children or building without instructions.

Has a variety of blocks and hundreds of combinations you can build. Doesn’t come with any characters unfortunately but you can always buy those separately.

My son loved getting this for Easter. The amount of things he had been able to build is great. The book that comes in the box yes has only a few of the items to build but you can down load the other items to build of line. We did that but he has more fun just making his own items and loves it.

I bought this Lego set for my five year old to start building his own creations and it has become a family hit for all ages! Not only does my son love building with these, the other “big kids” in the house have started building their own creations too!

484 pieces included that provides different building options, so your child can alter the design. Which also allows your child to improve creativity and imagination skills. Children 4 years and older can enjoy learning as they grow.

Excellent storage box, number and type of legos are a bit limited for the price. Kid loves it!
