Customer Ratings & Reviews

As a lifelong Formula 1 enthusiast and LEGO collector, this set absolutely delivers! From the moment I opened the box, the build felt satisfying yet approachable — the instructions were clear and easy to follow, making each step a joy rather than a challenge. Even with nearly 800 pieces, the experience was smooth and intuitive, great for both seasoned builders and anyone who appreciates a well‑paced assembly. What really won me over was the astonishing level of detail packed into this model. From the structurally accurate bodywork to the individual printed Goodyear graphics on the tires and the complex engine bay, every part reflects the real‑world innovation of the Williams FW14B. The clever building techniques — like minimizing visible studs and using subtle curves and hinge elements — give the finished car a sleek, professional finish that’s worthy of display. This set also pairs beautifully with the minifigure of Nigel Mansell, complete with his own stand — a perfect tribute to one of F1’s most beloved champions. The included display stand and plaque make this more than just a model; it’s a centerpiece for any racing‑fan shelf or desk. I already have the Ayrton Senna McLaren set, and adding this iconic Williams to my collection made both builds feel like a celebration of F1 history. It’s crystal clear LEGO put a lot of love into this — and now I’m even more excited to get the recently launched Michael Schumacher set to complete this trio of legends. Overall, this is a richly detailed, joyfully buildable set that hits all the right notes for fans of LEGO and motorsport alike. Whether you’re reliving racing nostalgia or just love high‑quality builds, it’s a fantastic addition to any collection.

The product is so impressive and is easy to assemble that my 9yo son enjoyed building it in no time and the finished product is so impressive.

Third Lego F1 set I get for my husband who’s a huge long time F1 fan. He’ll spend a few hours quietly building these — win, win.

The best gift on Christmas for my son who loves lego.

This is an awesome racing set!!! It took some patience, but I got through it. It's heavy. I left a part out regarding the wheels. When I looked back at the instructions, I see that the wheels turn!!! Nice!!!

Great Lego set! Honors Fi legends and looks great once done. Love the detail and the look captures what F1 was like in 90's era. Such a great pick up

Once again, LEGO makes another great set! Detail on this is amazing and was a nice, straight-forward build of an iconic car.

Fun set to do on a whim. Was the first technic set that we got that lets you turn the wheels with the steering wheel. I liked that the stand and car are detachable for when kid wants to play with it.

Fun to build but not too playable for little kids.

Fun build and a must have for any old school F1 fan!
