This is a fun set with interesting minifigs, but ultimately the tie in to a not really great Lego show means that both the play time and displayability of the set is limited and not really worth the pricetag. Darth Jar Jar is funny and the white Vader is unique but my son didn't really want to finish the build and as an adult it doesn't interest me as much as the normal Falcon would.

My 8-year old son had a great time putting this together all by himself. Directions are clear and the ship is very detailed. It kept him busy for 2 days!

My 6 year old loved getting the Dark Falcon for Christmas. Took him about 6-8 hours to build but he enjoyed every minute of it.
