Got this set for my Mario-obsessed five year old. The interactive spaces add a fun layer to play time if you have the interactive characters, and the build of the set is not too complicated. Fits in great with the other Mario Lego sets that we have.

Great nephew (6 yr) and I had great bonding experience building this set. An hour and half of no screen and a successful result. He was ready to build star gazing set when first set completed -I wasn’t. These seem pricey but what isn’t? Well worth it for the connection. Great Birthday. Thanks
