Customer Ratings & Reviews

This is a fun build, a little bit on the shorter side (not necessarily a bad thing!), and while I would like it to be a little bit more sturdy of a model, the shaping and overall look is really good (especially considering that this is made up of Lego blocks). One criticism is that the large white dots/printing on the 4 large red pieces that make up the top and bottom of the head are not as opaque as I’d like to see, especially on a Lego brand item, but it isn’t a deal breaker… There is a simple play feature too, coins can drop out, but make no mistake, this is really a display set. If you like what you see in the pics (design, colors, and subject matter), my bet is that you’ll be happy with this display model.

Lego never ceases to amaze with their sets and options. We added this one as a piece for our game room. Lights not included but go by brickbling and spice it up.

Purchased for my teenage son as a birthday present. He loves legos like most kids and enjoyed putting them together.

Bought for my son. He really enjoyed it, as he does all LEGO brand legos. Great instructions that are easy to follow and wnd product looks great!

Awesome product, son loved it, Best Buy had it in stock when most places were out.

This was so fun to build. Looks awesome in my office!

The steps and packaging were easy to follow as its all sorted out in to multiple bags and it lets you know when to open the next bag for the next step. Comes out as seen on the box and able to put it in other limited poses.

This along with some LEGO flowers are the centerpiece of our living room. Solid construction

The coolest most nostalgic desk plant that doesn’t need water or light! Me and my girlfriend had a great time building this set and it compliments our place big time.

If you're a Super Mario fan or just love unique display builds, the LEGO Super Mario Piranha Plant (71426) is an awesome addition to your collection. This set strikes a perfect balance between a relaxing build and a visually striking final piece. The build itself is enjoyable without being overly complicated, making it great for adults who want something fun but not stressful. With around 540 pieces, it’s detailed enough to feel rewarding, especially as you see the iconic Piranha Plant take shape. The posable features—like the head, mouth, stalk, and leaves—add a nice touch of personality and let you customize how it looks on display. What really stands out is how good it looks once completed. Sitting in its classic pipe, it feels like it came straight out of the Mario universe. It works perfectly as a desk piece, shelf decoration, or even a conversation starter for guests. The only downside is that it’s more of a display model than a playset, so if you’re looking for interactive features, this might not be it. But for collectors, gamers, or anyone who enjoys LEGO as a creative hobby, it definitely delivers. Overall, this set is a fun, stylish build that brings a nostalgic character to life in a creative way. Highly recommended for adult LEGO fans and Mario lovers alike.

Looks fantastic on show in my sons room. Not too challenging for my 12 year old son. Took him less than a week doing a little bit every day. It is a good buy!

I had a lot of fun putting this together. I like the coins too! Looks really cool in my room.

I bought this for my wife, she loves Legos and Mario Bros. She built it in 2 hours and now it is decor for our game room. It comes with clear instructions and labeling on the construction. Highly recommend.

[Employee of bestbuy] This set is a great size and quantity for the price you pay. The instructions are very clear and makes a great display piece

Delivered from best buy without crushing the box, major plus. Set was as expected. The mario brothers nastalga is awesome with this set. Make a great desk top piece. Design is great, and some of the building techniques are inventive. Instructions work well for both kids and adults. Perfect gift for the holidays as well.

This was a Fun build. Bigger than I expected. Good times.

This Lego set is of a Piranha Plant from Mario. It looks just like a Piranha Plant, WHEN IT’S BUILT. It’s delivered in pieces… PIECES!! Luckily, with the fortitude oft complimented by my teachers in grade school, I soldiered on and assembled it piece by piece. PIECE BY PIECE I TELL YOU!! After multiple telehealth calls, and the occasional suggestion by my therapist, I was able to complete this task. BUYER BEWARE, LEGO, more like IKEA, amirite??

This was really cute. Perfect size an great quality. Not hard to put together. I got this for a birthday gift.

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas, fun to build and it looks really nice. He has it on his desktop as decoration. Nice gift for mario bros fans

My grandson (age 11) is a big Super Mario fan and also loves Legos of all sorts. This Super Mario Piranha Plant building set gave him a lot of fun building and is now displayed on a bookcase in his bedroom. Excellent set, highly recommend not just for adults but also for kids (>8).
