The Leica Q3 is a high performance compact full frame digital camera built around a new 60MP BSI CMOS sensor with Triple Resolution Technology, delivering detailed images with natural color and the option to shoot at different effective resolutions. Digital zoom options extend up to 90mm for added framing flexibility. Powered by the Maestro IV processor with 8GB of memory, it offers fast responsiveness for high speed continuous shooting and smooth image processing. A hybrid autofocus system that combines contrast detection and phase detection supports advanced subject detection with eye, face, body, and animal tracking, helping maintain focus even in difficult situations. The Q3 adds a tilting rear display with a significant resolution increase over the previous model for clearer composing and playback. Updated connectivity includes HDMI for easier video workflows and USB C for charging and high speed data transfer. Video features include 8K output and ProRes support for high quality capture. Battery life is improved, and the Q3 adds wireless charging capability for a full frame camera.

The Leica Q3 43 introduces a new 43mm APO-Summicron f/2 ASPH. lens, offering a more focused perspective for portrait and everyday photography compared to the wider 28mm lens of the original Q3. Despite this lens change, the Q3 43 retains the core performance features of the original Q3, including a 60MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor, 8K video recording, and a hybrid autofocus system with subject tracking. The sensor provides excellent low-light performance, enhanced color accuracy, and digital zoom capabilities, simulating focal lengths up to 150mm. Triple Resolution Technology allows users to choose between 60MP, 36MP, or 18MP outputs while maintaining full sensor usage. The camera's updated Maestro IV processor delivers fast performance, enabling high-speed shooting at up to 15 fps and smooth operation across various modes. Designed with versatility in mind, the Q3 43 also supports 8K video, ProRes recording, and improved connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB-C.
