BEYONCÉ LEMONADE
More than happy with it. Fantastic album! Came with booklet and the yellow color is nice to add to my collection. It had the qr code as promised on the back of a cute lemon paper, sound is crisp, and record itself was clean and had no scratches.
Great Vinyl Record Packaging the Matches The Music
How can I start? You are doing yourself a disservice if you haven’t heard Lemonade by Beyoncé because you’re not a fan and choose not to listen to this extraordinary album. This 6th solo project departs away from anything I’ve ever heard from her or in pop music in a while. Not only that but the sound selection she chose to express herself and the producers she hand picked to produce this album with extensive use of Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B, Dixieland to Americana and then some. As usual, I pay attention to the production and sonic quality first and I’m pretty psyched about it. Then I stopped and listened to the lyrics and though I know she gets help with writing, she’s painted an experience into a musical picture. She reminds society that women have feelings, that they can also work as hard if not harder than a man and make mistakes just the same but most importantly that they can also forgive. There’s so much personal emotion in the making of this album that not only do I consider this musical art piece a masterpiece but consider it a personal musical achievement for Beyoncé. I’ll end this by saying that sure it seems I’m pretty psyched for this album and it’s because I am. I’ve been waiting to listen to something refreshing with real instruments and though I missed it by 3 years (didn’t have access to it and then kept putting it off), this was the album that had the sound I had been looking for and that had been playing in my head for quite a while. Take a listen! You’ll thank me!
