When I saw this PC, I thought, wow, big screen, lots of power (as described in the ad) NO reviews, but for the $529.00 I thought I'd take the chance if it lived up to the description. Well, it's back in the box despite the price going down by $80.00 and maybe this is why. It's just slow. Getting videos from the web are blurry. And the constant "circle thing that revolves around and around" while you wait for the machine to catch up, eventually freezes the page. If you watch a DVD, you may be OK. It just seems the 17" display just can't handle the chip provided and the resolution suffers. I do a lot of research and rely on websites applications and videos. This machine seemingly cant keep up with multitasking and especially the web. Further, the keyboard is loose, every time you hit a key, it rattles, just kind of flimsy and a little annoying (And that could just be my particular machine and not a mass production thing). Love the no glare screen, and was an very easy setup. I'll still be returning it, despite the price difference. If you're not in a hurry for speed, the big display is good, just think about what you want in a PC.

I should have done more research. Oh have to take the laptop almost st completely apart to get to the battery

While it takes some training on the newer Windows 10 program, once we got it figured out, the computer works like a charm. Wish Best Buy would offer free classes on the new OS though.

Very large screen sturdy construction and very fast

And with great performace. This not for gaming but for home tasks. Nice screen size. Plenty of storage and 8 gig keeps work flow speedy

This laptop work great and looks even better. I would recommend this to anyone. The keys feel great when typing and the processing is fast. I mainly use this computer for watching videos and web browsing,

The main advantages of this computer are its low price and its large screen. The main disadvantage is that it was designed for the Brazilian market and everything was in Portuguese. There are instructions online for converting it to US English but those instructions are in English and the boxes one needs to check to carry out the instructions are in Portuguese.

Bought this laptop to replace an old Gateway. I need the numeric keypad and the DVD-RW, so this laptop was perfect for me. The laptop is very large and heavy, but since I use it as a desktop with a second monitor, it's exactly what I needed. Has very good graphics and it's very fast. Would not recommend for a road warrior always changing location due to its size and weight.

This is a very big laptop. It’s like carrying around a small flatscreen tv. It’s quick and responsive, handles multitasking well, has lots of memory, a full number pad which is always convenient, and a nice looking, bright display. The laptop is a little heavy to carry around but it’s expected due to it’s size. It also has an optical disc drive unlike a lot of newer ones.

This laptop has ample memory and speed for any normal type processing and should be fine for students and average home computing families!

Very easy to set-up; had no trouble connecting to the internet and it has been a pleasant ride since then.

Pros. Large screen with great clarity. Separate Numeric key pad. Number lock, caps lock with lights. Loaded all my programs and apps and barely put a dent in the available memory. Very fast and I can surprise myself with finding I have a plethora of windows open. Cons. My cat doesn't like it because it takes up too much of my/her lap space.

Have had the laptop for over a year; and, at least so far, it has been a stable device. I purchased it to replace a Toshiba laptop that was a number of years old and had crashed due to hard disk problems. Like 17" screens and also the separate 10-key number pad. This one has both. Larger screens give a better work area, and I use the number keypad by touch to enter lots of numeric data for my spreadsheets. I am careful with handling as any system with a standard hard disk can be corrupted with harsh handling -- which is why I usually get lots of use before hard disk problems occur. I would have liked to purchase SSD hard disk, but the size is still too small, and the price is still too high to date. As such, this was the best choice to get a realistic price for a laptop replacement.

This is a great computer and has plenty of storage to for the price.

Great laptop for web browsing and basic word, excel, or power point activity.

This is the 2nd one of these I have purchased. Still has Internet plug and DVD Drive. Will handle 2 screens. Pretty fast for an I5 and enough memory with 8gb and 1 TB drive. Would buy another in heartbeat if I could find one.
