I use this computer to run software to stream on my YouTube channel and Twitch. I can have multiple programs running and it's so smooth. There's a option to get enhanced internals for extra $$$ which I opted out on but is a option. Great for gaming too.

Hi I needed a computer ASAP and I saw this on the Best Buy site and the reviews were good. Deal was great. Easy to install. It has a lot more ports for your other devices. I purchased a web cam to use for meetings and the Lenovo Desktop found it immediately. I love it.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the audio files on your Lenovo IdeaCentre 510A Desktop. First, try restoring your computer back to original factory settings. Here is a link to instructions for doing this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026528/windows-10-reset-or-reinstall. If this does not fix the audio issue, then scan the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

This desktop fits the bill for me perfectly. Its a small tower which doesn't take up a lot of space in my office. It's easy to open and upgrade the RAM and hard drive. I upgraded the hard drive to a Samsung 860 EVO. Thirdly, it has plenty of USB ports 3.0, 3.1 and even a type C port. The best thing it that I purchased this powerful desktop with an 8th generation I-5 on sale for under $500. That is icing on the cake. I have owned Lenovo laptops and they always perform stellar and are very durable. I still have my old one from 2012 that works well.

Problems with a new out of box computer. Called technical support and they said I would get a call in two hours. Two days later I received a voicemail about the issue. I restored the computer and was finally able to get it to load windows, with memory management errors. I called support back and. To top it all off they wanted to charge me troubleshoot issue. At that point I decided to return this Lenovo trash and get a Dell. My advice is to buy another brand. Even if the computer works, don't expect any support for anything. Unless you have extra money and want to waste it.

We are sorry to hear that you had issues with the initial activation of Windows 10 within your Lenovo IdeaCentre 510A Desktop, model number 90HV0003US. Resetting the computer back to original factory settings then trying the initial activation process again may fix the issue. Ensure that your computer is connected to ac power during the recovery process. The Windows recovery environment on your computer operates independently from the Windows 10 operating system. It enables you to recover or repair the operating system even if the Windows 10 operating system fails to start. After two consecutive failed boot attempts, the Windows recovery environment starts automatically. Then, you can choose repair and recovery options by following the on-screen instructions. Here is a link to more recovery options within Windows 10: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12415/windows-10-recovery-options

I've been running this computer for a few weeks now and I'm pleasantly surprised. It was finally time to upgrade from my old Lenovo T520 ThinkPad and once I saw the i5-8400 in this machine on sale (yes, I bought this while on sale) I knew it was time. Set up was easy and straight forward. And opening the case was a breeze. HARD DRIVE I installed a Samsung 860 EVO SSD and connected using SATA and power cable pulled from CD-ROM (because how often are you really going to use it anyway?). Once installed, ran Samsung Magician to clone the HDD (remember to delete from HDD once cloned) to boot from the SSD instead for a more responsive experience. There is a considerable difference booting off the SSD. HOOK UPS There are two sources for video output so you can set up a dual monitor very easily. My current set up is HDMI to DIV-D and VGA to VGA (noticeable when reading text). OVERALL This computer checked all the boxes of things that were important to me for my new machine. I'm happy to be on an 8th gen processor and although the i7 was tempting, I went the practical route and did not purchase more than I needed. My next update is taking the current 8 GB RAM (2x 4GB) to 16GB (2x 8GB). Once that is complete, this will be a very solid machine, especially at this price point.

I've owned this PC since May. I chose it because an i5 processor with 8 GB of RAM is perfectly fine for normal daily use. I went with the 1 TB hard drive instead of a SSD because of the extra storage. Having the old school CD/DVD burner is good. It has plenty of other ports, too. It's a slimmer design than older towers, so it won't take up too much space on your desk. It's not meant for gaming. The power supply is not suited for an upgrade of the video card, if you wanted better graphics for gaming or other graphics-intensive purposes. My teenage sons were relieved that it would run simple games like Among Us and some Steam titles, but you have to pay attention to the System Requirements. Any games that need a discreet graphics card from Nvidia or ATI will not run on the Intel Integrated graphics this rig has. It only has one HDMI port, so keep that in mind if you planned on connecting dual monitors for a work setup. You might have to hook up a second screen through the VGA port. It's done fine for surfing the web and using Microsoft Office. This computer will serve you well if you are looking for a family computer. It would be good for anyone working from home, students needing a PC for e-learning, and those just looking for a new computer. It beats a Chromebook!

This machine is impressive. It is very well made - with a very pleasing exterior, and a very clean and well laid out interior. It provides more features at this price point than you can find elsewhere. For example - it gives two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, and a USB C port on the front! The engineering is well thought out. For example, the memory is two paired 4GB sticks, to optimize throughput. The machine is snappy and does the jobs it was designed for very well. One thing to take note of is that the machine is not designed for high end gaming, and really can't be upgraded to do so - it has a 180W interior power supply and a proprietary motherboard. But it does all the tasks characteristic of a home pc very well, and somewhat beyond. I am doing photo editing using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop Elements, and they work very well. I have paired the PC with a 28" Samsung 4K monitor, and the images are stunning. For the price, you won't find a better machine anywhere.

Bought for an unexpected new home office for the wife. We shopped for any PC that was in stock for immediate pickup that had a fast processor, memory, and a good size hard drive. We purchased this Lenovo and I set it up for her. I like that the case size is small, and the Windows 10 OS worked without hours of updates out of the gate. The cooling fans are very quiet, and we have had no issues with its performance. The only con is the included keyboard/mouse. Wired and very basic, and uncomfortable for prolonged use. We upgraded with a Logitech Wave wireless combo.

Less than 10 minutes out of the box, setup was completed and it was ready for use. Cortana walks you through it all and it helps if you already have a Microsoft account (but you can change that to a local account later on, if you want). "Lenovo Vantage" comes pre-installed and it keeps your system up-to-date with critical updates and system notifications; it's easy-peasy to use and basically just sits in the background monitoring things for you. McAfee Live Safe comes pre-installed and I went ahead and kept it, getting a really good Black Friday subscription deal for the first year! I'm very pleased with my purchase, and I highly recommend this computer! It's got enough memory and a big enough hard drive for just about anything you'd want to do, even graphics programs.

This is a very nicely sized system. It will fit just about anywhere you want it to. I also was able to do some upgrades, such as 16gb of Corsair Vengeance, a 120gb SATA SSD, and a GT 1030. The i5 8400 is also plenty to dominate just about any task. I am just disappointed by the 180 watt power supply that this PC comes with. That is hardly enough to add any video card comfortably without the worry of your computer exploding. The GT 1030 thankfully only uses 30 watts but it would have been nice to see a 240 watt power supply for the option to add a 75 watt card like the GTX 1650. I can't take too many points off of my review for this reason, however, since this is marketed as a PC for work. In this regard this computer dominates anything. This is a great PC to get work done on and from what I have heard, I can even go up to 32gb of RAM if needed. Your best bet to avoid the problems that this PC has would be to build your own, as it is actually quite a straight forward process.

Alit if bang for your buck. Our other computer was 8 years old so this one seems to run like a Ferrari. We also jumped on the low prices for Black Friday. It has double the space in the hard drive and double the memory. It comes with windows pre-installed and it only took me less than 15 minutes from hooking the couple of cords up to getting the computer completely downloaded with the new updates. So easy to do a 10 year old could do it and explains the whole entire process to you as your doing it. I would suggest buying and it comes with the new keyboard and mouse but the monitor comes separate.

Bought this to upgrade from another Lenovo tower I had for a few months to get something a bit more powerful. Everything has been working flawlessly thus far. I did install some additional RAM. Getting the cover off to do that was easy enough. Just be aware that even though it looks like a big case, it is not full ATX which is presenting some challenges for me with regard to some additional upgrades I want to do.

This Lenovo computer has worked very well for me. My last computer (also purchased @ Best Buy) lasted about 12 years. A few weeks before Black Friday my computer refused to start. After a few days it started again. The Sunday after Black Friday it developed an unusual "hum". I immediately saw the computers still on sale @ Best Buy. I was going to buy a gaming computer with a lot more power & ram. I'm retired & my very tech savvy son-in-law, who knows a lot about computers & knows how I use computers, told me this Lenovo was a better fit for me which saved me about 1/2 the cost. Lenovo is the old IBM computers which is a very high quality computer. I do a lot of picture editing & will have more video editing with the birth of my grand children. The Geek Squad was able to give me more ram & more hard drive & still keep it less than my 1st choice. The Geek Squad rep did a great job with setting up, preparing my computer, then explaining to me what had been done.

The unit is exactly as advertised. Good CPU with 6 cores, 8GB memory expandible, Good reasonable hard drive. Windows 10 works. Didn't care for the antivirus that was offered as I use a different package. Unit is pretty quiet when running on top of my desk. The disk drive does make sound when in use but it is real quiet as well. Overall a good unit at a fair price and available right away even in these interesting times.

Don't let it's size fool you. This Lenovo is fast, accurate, and can sit on my desk without blocking access to anything. The price was very good. It has plenty of usb ports and isn't noisy. Neither is it too heavy for my illness-weakened muscles to carry. I'm not a tech, so I can't fill you in on all those goodies. I can tell you I'm really pleased with this machine and I'm a picky sort when it comes to pcs.
