Customer Ratings & Reviews

I appreciate practical value over flashy features. This Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 in Abyss Blue serves as an excellent, reliable daily driver that punches above its price tag. Design: Lightweight, portable, and looks sharp, though the plastic body has minor flex. Display & Keyboard: Crisp 15.6" Full HD screen, though viewing angles are average. The keyboard is exceptional and highly comfortable for typing. Performance: The AMD Ryzen 5 processor handles dozens of browser tabs and spreadsheets effortlessly. Windows 11: OS navigation, boot times, and multitasking feel are fluid, thanks to the SSD optimization. Webcam: The built-in camera is adequate for standard video calls and Zoom meetings, though video quality gets grainy in low-light settings. Storage & Battery: The 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD are fast enough for casual use but best suited for general tasks rather than heavy media storage. Battery life averages a decent 5–6 hours. Pros: Snappy Windows 11 responsiveness Excellent tactile keyboard Fast Ryzen 5 performance Sharp, lightweight design Great overall budget value Cons: Narrow screen viewing angles Grainy webcam in low light Limited 256GB storage space Mediocre battery life It lacks premium metal materials, but for dependable everyday performance on a budget, it earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

I bought this laptop for college and wanted something that ran fast compared to my last laptop that was an HP. This works amazing and hasn’t giving me any issues. I can have a bunch of tabs open at once and it still won’t start running slow. The battery life lasts most of the day as well. It is great for completing assignments for college.

The overall preformance of the computer is pretty good it runs everything i need it to pretty quicklt (mostly school and prime video) it wont run any sort of heavy gaming and i assume kight gaming will be laggy on it because it already struggles to run multiple tabs at once if they are medium to heavy load. It isnt touch screen which is a bummer and the screen quakity is okay its not hd or anything it is more like a chromebooks screen quality which is good for work and such but overall for the price tag it runs pretty good. Ps the battery does pretty quickly on it its kinda lame on battery life

This laptop works and I love that. It's fast, sleek, and I like the matte feel to it. Battery lasts a long time too.

Pros - versatile for MS and Chromebooks. Able to download variety of apps so usable for school and home. OS is Microsoft and is familiar. Games are working well. Downloads and playing the games is good. Likes the screen, good size and easy to read, nice size for laptop, easy to carry around. Great price over Memorial Day weekend. Able to purchase accessories and 3 year warranty and still less than msrp. Cons - doesn’t like MS edge as search engine since it seems to use a lot of AI. Will switch search engines, Will be using at school and home. The sales person, Chris from the Rockford IL Best Buy store was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with this purchase. Enjoys the versatile screen savers. Note that some of the MS School apps require subscription.

Very great computer for everyday needs and moderate game play. I have been playing the sims perfectly fine! It’s light weight and holds charge perfectly.

My $1,000.00, 10 yr old HP quit working. This Lenova Laptop was purchased to replace it for about $400.00 and performs as good or better.

Excellent product, I’ve used it for around 2 months and I haven’t had any problems with it, I’ve been using it for school and assignments, all the apps run smoothly and effectively.

Clear screen ! No cons! Satisfied with my purchase!

You got somebody starting school this is the computer for them 100%

Lenovo is the best brand. Amazing values, great features. The only downside that I did not know before purchasing it was that it does not have touchscreen, if this is not a dealbreaker for you, get it!

For the price I think they could reduce the storage and increase the ram for faster compute. I think the laptop lags heavily.

I had a 9 year old Lenovo laptop which was slowwww. I explained to the salesperson what I needed and was looking for and this was his suggestion. It's quick, it's light, is a nice color (though its smooth case does show fingerprints) and the store was helpful and speedy in helping me get it set up. Its slots don't quite take cables I had previously used for hardwiring and my printer but I haven't needed them and I can easily need to get replacements. I use the laptop at home primarily for email and visiting new websited too large to be accurattely viewed on my phone.

I’ve had a great experience with this laptop so far. It’s lightweight, boots up quickly, and handles everyday tasks like browsing, streaming, schoolwork, and office applications with ease. The display is bright and clear, and the battery life has been reliable throughout the day. Overall, it’s an excellent value for the price and a great choice for anyone looking for a dependable everyday laptop. I would definitely recommend it.

SO i purchased it a month ago.The laptop is lightweight , easy to carry and the battery stay for more than 24 hour. When i started working everything is smooth. There is no time lag and even when we work at screen it gives high quality resolution.

I’ve been using this laptop for a while now, and I’m very satisfied with my purchase. It’s fast, lightweight, and perfect for everyday tasks like browsing, streaming, and working. The display is bright and sharp, the keyboard is comfortable to type on, and the battery life is great. Setup was quick and easy, and everything runs smoothly. Excellent value for the price—I would definitely recommend it.

Overall not bad. Lightweight and holds good charge. Has no issues with multiple browser tabs and stream. The multi window is useful as well

Perfect, lightweight laptop for my needs as a traveling freelancewriter. It is fast and efficient and nice looking in blue!

I recently picked up a Lenovo laptop from Best Buy, and so far, I'm really happy with it! The staff at Best Buy were super helpful in guiding me to the right model for my needs, which was a great start. Setting it up at home was a breeze, and I was up and running in no time. Performance-wise, this Lenovo has been a champ. It handles all my daily tasks—browsing, streaming, and some light work—without any hiccups. The display is crisp and clear, making everything look great, and the keyboard is comfortable for typing, which is a big plus for me. The battery life has also been impressive, letting me work or watch movies for hours without needing to plug in. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this Lenovo laptop, especially if you're looking for a reliable machine that offers good value. Best Buy made the purchasing experience smooth, and the laptop itself has lived up to expectations. It's a solid choice for anyone needing a dependable computer for everyday use.

Purchased to replace a Toshiba (that came with Windows Vista) that was running Win 10. Was a nice at the time, and incredibly slow now. This Lenovo is pretty speedy, and was really easy to set up, register, and get online. Main use is routine searches, online shopping, and doing our taxes. Only two things I noticed: mouse pointer default is really tiny, but can be bumped up in settings, and the screen colors seem a little dull. Not sure if that can be tweaked, but I haven't tried (yet). But all things considered, nice laptop.
