I also own the original Lenovo Duet (10.1") / 4GB, The Lenovo Duet 5 with OLED and 8GB, and an Asus C30 10.5" detachable with 8GB. All three have the 128GB storage. All still work. Even the original Duet. I decided I wanted a clamshell (traditional laptop) rather than a detachable for throwing in my backpack and grading papers. I almost bought the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14", but it was faster, pricier and the OLED on my Duet 5 has always given me headaches when trying to read on it due to PWM that OLED screens have. Then I saw the Slim 3 on sale for $289. At $289 with an ultra sharp 2K IPS screen, I suddenly got really interested. Then I discovered it had more ports than most Chromebooks have! I got an HDMI, 2x USB-C, 2x USB-A and an audio out jack! The keyboard is backlit, it weighs just under 3 lbs, it's plenty fast enough for everything I need it for, and it's just an awesome machine all the way around! I think the star of the show is the 14" 2K IPS Screen. It is RAZOR sharp and makes grading sessions easier! It's fan-less, so it's silent, and the MediaTek Kompanio 540 is a brand new processor that is powerful enough for what I need it for! I couldn't' be happier with this purchase, and glad I found and chose this machine at the last minute instead of paying a lot more for premium features in the Lenovo Plus 14" that I really didn't need plus a lack of ports found in that machine. Battery life, screen, weight, everything is just awesome about this machine.

We've only been using this for a few days as school ramps up and I really can't find any complaints. It moves quickly and is very responsive. There are cheaper options but my initial reaction was to recommend to two others to buy the same one-- and they did and are happy, too.

Very nice for the price. Dose everything I wanted. Great video performance from Live TV Streaming and micro cards. Only drawback is not able to install Thunderbird through Debian-based Linux environment. Defiantly recommend for travel

I bought 2 of these to homeschool my kids. The pirchase was well worth the money. It boots up fast and is always ready couldn't be happier.

Although I use a variety of OSes, I like Chromebooks because of their integration with the Google ecosystem, which compared to Apple's and Microsoft's similar systems (cloud storage, online apps) is much more open and less pushy into using their offerings. (Google apps also work well in the other OSes I use.) I don't generally need a lot of local performance in my machines (I never do gaming), but I find that the online developer culture is insensitive to people such as myself and developers seem think nothing of pushing page rendering into the local browser when the processing power on the server could much more readily render the page and just serve the page, and not gobs of JavaScript to fill in the DOM. The Stripe credit card company software is notoriously slow for example. It will sometimes take 10-15 seconds just to load one page, and when I have to continuously reload pages this slows down my productivity tremendously. I had a very low-cost Chromebook made by HP, which is basically of the performance and size that elementary school students use, but using it productively was getting to be very frustrating. One issue with the Chromebook offerings is that generally speaking you only get decent performance with devices that have large screen size. Typically I use all my laptops plugged into a large monitor -- have one at home and one at work -- but for portability I don't want a large size native screen. This Lenovo offers really good performance yet still remains not too physically large. I was also able to get it at a great price during Best Buy's July sale. I feel like I got a great bargain.

Perfectly smooth transaction. The Chromebook from Lenovo couldn't be better. It is faster then expected with a screen that is easy on the eyes. The back lighted keyboard was an unexpected surprise and very much appreciated. Battery life is long enough to last all working day. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

I picked up this Chromebook looking for something that's easily usable in a mobile environment that handles tasks in Google Workspace during work time and can handle videos and social media during personal time. It handles all that with ease. I have had multiple tabs open when reviewing sources, making notes, and making a presentation at the same time. The display is bright enough to use in a vehicle during the day and is vibrant enough for movies. The speakers are good for the size and can handle music, movies, and TV shows in an average room. I average about 12-13 hours of battery life depending on how aggressive I need to have tabs open but with USB-C charging I have never had a power issue. I have had no hardware or connection issues with a consistently smooth performance overall.

This is a good overall laptop that didnt break the bank. Decent sized screen and works pretty fast. Battery life is great and connects to wifi no problem. Touch screen is pretty good too. Only complaint is the sensitive mouse that sometimes is hard to track.

laptop is small and convenient for mobile use, battery lasts quite a while and its touchscreen so super convenient.

Not too heavey, backlit keyboard, boots up fast and great battery life. Perfect for elementary school child.

Good battery life bright screen easy to move around and do what you need to do

Easy to transport with slim design. Touchscreen is a good perk. Display is clear and does basic tasks easily.

Great Chromebook for everyday use! The 14-inch touchscreen is responsive, and I like the Cosmic Blue finish. It's quick for browsing, streaming, and getting work done. A solid, easy-to-use laptop for the price.

This 5-star Lenovo Chromebook delivers exceptional value, premium build quality, and all-day battery life, offering snappy, lag-free performance for daily tasks at an unbeatable price.

My son got it for school and said it works very well. Display could be a little better but does what he needs it to do. Battery life is great.

Purchased for my son for college. Lightweight, but much faster response time than the HP Chromebook he had. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase!

This Chromebook is fast, smooth, and super easy to set up and use. It's highly reliable. My only gripe is actually more with Chrome OS than the Chromebook itself. I like to have multiple chrome profiles open at once - one for work, one for personal, each with their own set of saved bookmarks. That is not possible on a Chromebook apparently - instead I'd have to sign out of the entire OS and login under a separate chrome profiles, is open and run the other in incognito mode, which means I do not get the saved bookmarks associated with the other profile. Why this option in Chrome is available in windows but not in the Chrome OS is beyond me, and apparently the hundreds of other people that have the same issue with Chromebooks. One would think Google would do something about this, but apparently not. So if you're using this chromebook for a single profile, it is fantastic for the value. If however you want to use multiple profiles, be sure to get a windows laptop and not a Chromebook.

For a cost effective choice, this is a great option. It's a perfect size, great keyboard and OS, no complaints!

battery life is great and it charges fast. it’s loads pretty quick and everything is in a very manageable location i use this for college and it works great

The color is very vivid, better than some of the more expensive books. Easy to learn and they transfered everything from my old book to the new easily.
