Q: What is the Max RAM upgrade potential on this one? Are all 16 GB Soldered?
A: 2 slots, 2 replaceable sticks. The official answer as shown is 32gb support but i and many others simply bought 2 32gb sticks to make it 64gb ram total and works great. Remember the factory ram on the 16gb models is the slower x16 ram vs x8 so when you upgrade always do BOTH sticks to ensure you increase your performance and make a noticeable difference.
Q: is it refurbished or anything ? if not then how come the price is so low?
A: The Legion 5 Pro with 512gb SSD ( upgradable) and 3070 GPU ( a $250 upgrade on Lenovo's website - not upgradable after purchase) sold for $1399.00 since it was released last year at another retailer. If you do the math and consider the limited upgradability you'll realize the price isn't "low" at all for this unit.
