Recently got the Legion 5i and honestly, it’s been a great buy. Performance is solid—handles multitasking, heavy software, and gaming without breaking a sweat. Everything feels smooth and responsive, even under load. The build quality surprised me in a good way. It feels sturdy and well-made, not plasticky like some gaming laptops. The keyboard is comfortable for long sessions, and the screen looks sharp with good brightness and colors. Thermals are well managed. The fans do ramp up during intense use, but that’s expected, and the laptop doesn’t get uncomfortably hot. I also appreciate the clean, understated design—it doesn’t scream “gaming laptop,” which is a plus for work or everyday use. Battery life is decent for a performance laptop, and setup was straightforward right out of the box. Overall, great balance of performance, build quality, and value. Would definitely recommend the Legion 5i to anyone looking for a powerful and reliable laptop.

This laptop has been a huge upgrade for my aerospace engineering work. It handles MATLAB, ANSYS, and CAD software effortlessly while staying cool and responsive. The display is sharp, colors are vibrant, and the overall build feels premium. Battery life is solid for classes and study sessions, and the performance boost is noticeable compared to my older system. Definitely recommend it for any engineering or STEM student who needs reliable power on the go.

I love my new computer so far, was searching for a while and glad I picked this one! Love the back lights in rainbow and it’s very easy to set up. Bluetooth works great with my phone and seems to download pretty fast. No problems yet. And gaming is clear , I’m very impressed !!!! Fortnite works great!! The Xbox controller hooks up easy and works great too

Except battery life which is 2 hours in quiet mode or low performance and fans which you can hear even with headphones on or from older away, it does not disappoint. OLED screen and form factor is good. Light weight. Turbo fans are really noisy and always running when set to performance mode.

Regarding your note on battery life – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in gaming laptops that can increase even more due to their high-powered processors and graphics cards. If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, you can utilize the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the dedicated GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the Lenovo Vantage app > top right box > GPU working mode, then choosing your preferred method. Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even greater power conservation.

This laptop checks all the boxes. The OLED screen is clear as a bell. The laptop is lightweight to carry in a portfolio bag. But strong and durable. The processor keeps up with my fast typing (ha!). Doesnt get hot. Its great.

Nice laptop size and not too heavy. It is perfect for school work and casual gaming. The keyboard backlight is charming and lets you set it up any way you like it. The battery drains faster than I expected. However, one positive aspect is that it is not too noisy when used for light tasks. Overall 8.5/10

This computer is a pretty good choice for the price, it runs fast and can handle basically any program. The specs are perfect for anyone who wants to get some work done from home. The oled display is also a plus and looks amazing.

The product itself is amazing. The experience of trying to order it online was not. Originally I tried to order a used one that I could pick up in store and had already paid and had my money removed from my account when they told me that they no longer had it available. Had to buy it new and get it shipped.

It’s good… but almost, I didn’t use the product for two months and now it has been almost 2 months and I’ve been trying to contact Best Buy and I was on a call for more than 1 1/2 hour and they didn’t even help me with the whole support and I assume they were, but the speaker isn’t working on the device and literally accept the AI. I have no one to talk to in the AI isn’t even giving me the proper support that I need. If there is anything I can do to get proper support, I hope I get a response, but apart from that, I have a Speaker problem with the laptop. Even after running all the diagnostics and resetting the whole laptop, it isn’t working. And I genuinely don’t know what to do.

So far so good. Got it two weeks ago but have had a weird incident of the screen going back and locking me out. Afraid of it shutting down on me but computer runs games very well. I have had no issues running any games so far.

Great service at the store. Computer savings of $550.00 was great!!! I watched Youtube for a month to see what gaming computer was a good buy for me at the time. They picked the one I wanted. It runs great and has everything I need. No complaints at this time. Definately recommend the Oled screen its eye candy and the graphics are clear as day.

The battery can die quickly, especially when playing a game, but it also charges quickly.
