TLDR: The Legion 7a 15" inch (388, 32gb) model is probably the best laptop I've ever owned, but it's far from perfect. Positives: + The form factor is amazing. It's the thinnest, lightest, and most portable 15" gaming laptop today. + Graphics and gaming performance is super impressive given its size. It beats the RTX 5050 laptop easily. + The battery life is great and lasts me a whole work day (7 hours, office work). Gaming gets almost 2 hours on battery, with no performance loss. That's unheard of. + OLED screen, great colors and high brightness. + Great quality speakers and port selection. Drawbacks: - The laptop gets hot, very hot during long intensive tasks like gaming. The top and middle keyboard can get uncomfortably warm, as well as the bottom chassis. For light tasks, it's perfectly fine. - The screen is basically a mirror and has no matte/anti reflection coating. (see photo) - I did experience battery drain while plugged in during gaming. Hopefully a future software update will fix this. - Both configurations are too expensive for what they offer. Would recommend, but only on sale and after AMD releases FSR 4 support.

I recently purchased this laptop and overall I am happy with it. I need a computer mainly for research, word processing and crunching numbers—but I also enjoy eacaping into a game or two. Portability is also important to me. So, how do you get a (casual) gaming computer into a portable 16-inch laptop? The Legion with the AMD AI Max+ chip. This computer is light and powerful. Prior to this I had the Zephyrus Rog G14 and I am so happy with the change. I have been able to play Cyberpunk and Assassins Creed Shadows on high settings with no issues, they both look great. While you will want to have a cooling pad underneath while gaming, it doesn't run too hot, and it cools down quickly after gaming. And the screen is beautiful! So far, I'm thrilled with this purchase. Is it the best gaming laptop. No, not at all. You can find cheaper versions with better graphics cards. But they will be heavy, hot, and won't have such a beautiful screen. This computer is for those that need a computer for work or research, but also like to unwind gaming everynow and then. I will say that it is expensive, but there are often sales or refurbished options that can help get the price down.

Pros This machine delivers an outstanding feature set and stands out as one of the best value options in its class. The 8-core Ryzen AI processor provides excellent multi-threaded performance for everyday tasks, content creation, and AI-accelerated workloads. Paired with the powerful Radeon 8060S integrated graphics, it handles comfortable 1440p and even 4K gaming at high settings with impressive efficiency—no discrete GPU required. Cons Under full load the cooling system becomes quite audible, which can be distracting in quiet environments.

I am very satisfied with this product. It works as expected, is easy to use, and performs excellently. The quality is impressive, and I appreciate how reliable and convenient it has been for everyday use. The features are useful, and the product has met my expectations. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, high-quality product.

I use this mainly for video editing and basic internet crap. It is a good meat and potatoes computer with some great features and I like that I can upgrade the ram if needed. Eat a taco and grab this one but don't spill any sauce on it.

Exceptional display on this laptop, you are able to see features of actors in their movie that you would not see on other laptops due to the high end graphic card.

Speed is great, keyboard is amazing, battery above average, screen is incredibly shiny. So outdoor work will be difficult.

Great laptop with lots of features. Grandson uses it for college and music arrangements.
