I was looking for a Laptop for Architecture school, and I came across this Lenovo Legion. At first I was cautious due to the price, but I can say this is worth every dollar. Speed is amazing , i constantly use multiple software/programs at once, such as YouTube, rhino 3d, multiple webpages, and there is absolutely no lag. Lenovo also has a good monitoring system, such as LegionSpace, where you can monitor your performance and adjust if you want a quiet workspace or a heavily packed performance space. While it has a lot of performance, the laptop is very slim and portable- so take that into mind. Other laptops with the same specs may have more RAW power, but this computer is still a beast. The battery life is good while using intense software ( 3 hours ), but for general use, 6-7. But while battery life is important, Laptops with high-end performance components will always have less battery storage, so don't let that deter you. If you are buying this for performance, don't expect to sit at a coffee shop for 5 hours on a gpu/processor heavy task ( that is common) . The Screen quality is great, and I enjoy the 16". I thought it was going to be more wow, but 2.5k oled is still very good I am just being very picky. I will go back to the first comment and say that the high price tag is great for the balance of this computer. You could find a laptop with better performance, not an OLED. Or choose the 7i version for more raw power- but less portability (battery life). If you find this laptop at a great deal, then get this one 100%.

Purchased at $2,399.99 during a sale, which makes this a great deal around that price point. The closer you get to $3,000 the more mandatory an Intel HX or 386H CPU / 5070Ti or higher becomes. Pros - Display is gorgeous and very bright. ~500 nits SDR and 1100 nits HDR. - Device is well built and looks and feels great / premium. Body doesn't show fingerprints. - Typing / keyboard experience is among the absolute best, typical of Lenovo. Maybe only beaten by Asus ProArt (not Zephyrus) in my opinion. - Performance while plugged in is exceptional, even if the CPU isn't the Intel 386H. It boots and resumes from hibernation very quick. Zero stuttering or any other minor issues I've experienced. 12GB of VRAM solves the biggest problem the 5070 had, narrowing the gap to the 5070Ti by a respectable margin for content that needs it. - I haven't pushed it to any extremes yet, but it's only gotten slightly warm. - 32GB of RAM was a good choice. 16GB feels like a scam in 2026 (looking at you Zephyrus). - Not often talked about, but included bloatware is minimal (McAfee, yuck). - Legion software allows for BIOS updates from within Windows Cons - Performance while on battery is rough. Doesn't seem like you can enable any performance modes and standard modes become very throttled. - Battery life while on battery is "expected" for a gaming laptop, but easily crushed by most laptops offering the Intel 386H. Expect those to be considerably more expensive, however. - Screen is very glossy and whatever coating is on it feels almost "sticky", showing dust and fingerprints easily. Not a touchscreen so it shouldn't really be a problem. - RAM can't be upgraded, but is far faster than non-soldered RAM and 32GB should be sufficient for most people for a good while.

I had a very good experience with this Lenovo Legion overall. The build quality is excellent, the display looks amazing, and the performance is very good for gaming and everyday use. The laptop feels solid and well-designed, and I was very happy with its overall quality. The only issue I noticed was that, from time to time, the laptop would become noticeably slow or take longer than expected to respond, even when I wasn’t doing anything particularly demanding. It wasn’t a constant problem, and most of the time the laptop performed very well. I suspect it may have been related to the newer-generation processor and early software/driver optimization rather than a hardware defect. Other than those occasional slowdowns, everything worked well. Overall, it’s a very capable and well-built gaming laptop that I would recommend.

It is a great everyday laptop if you can get a good price on it. It is not worth the regular price of over 3k. I bought it on sale. It has great but reflective screen. Stays cool andnhas great battery life.

I didn't realize I was paying so much more over msrp. Still, a great laptop. I bought this for college. Super portable and light for the hardware inside and the only rgb is on the keyboard so I'm not blinding my classmates or professors.

Ryzen just doesn't cut it, don't stop here if you're looking to play AAA titles on max. It's a nice machine, but it belongs in a lower price bracket.
