I purchased this slim 7i for work, im a roofing contractor, works great. I also got this lap top for video editing. Lap top came with 16g ram & 1tb memory, before even turing it on i opened the back of it and installed an additional samsung 2tb m.2 for a total of 3tb of memory as well as Crucial ram 32gb 5200 mt/s for a total of 48gb of ram. Works awesome for video editing 4k content, im working on a video project now at 20 min so far. I always keep it plugged in at home, battery is decent but i only use battery power to send & receive emails for work. Overall love this lap top, screen quality is great, brightness is about 500 nits so its nice to use outside. Id recommend this product.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7i has truly transformed my computing experience. Its remarkable portability and impressive power make it a game-changer for me. I can effortlessly run all the demanding engineering software I need, and seamlessly transition to online activities with friends. If you're in search of a device that combines portability and power, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i stands out as the top choice. One consideration for prospective buyers is the battery life. The AMD version of the Lenovo Slim 7i boasts a superior battery life, while the Intel version smoothly operated for approximately 5 hours during office work. While 5 hours might not be sufficient for some users, the USB-C power port provides a convenient solution, allowing the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i to be easily charged whenever necessary. This versatility ensures that the device remains functional even during extended use. Overall, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i is a stellar option for those who prioritize both portability and performance.
I bought this item open-box after missing out on a sale for the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16. I have been using a work laptop for the past 10+ years with my last personal laptop being a 2011 MBP. This thing does exactly what I need it to and frankly, probably over-powered. SSD powers off and on in the blink of an eye, the fingerprint reader/power button works better than any touch ID I have used, and I clutched a warzone W without a proper setup- no adjustments, using an xbox elite series 2 controller, using 5ghz wifi (I have 5gbps symmetrical fiber). I was a little hesitant on using going open box for my first PC, but there was only 2-3 smudges I wiped down with ISP and it was practically brand new. Getting this for $1500 was an absolute steal - Allen Wake 2 was thrown in for free too! - I went into this purchase with little to no expectations.

Fantastic laptop!!! I did my research to find the best laptop within my price range and I came across this beauty! It’s been about a month of owning this laptop and I couldn’t be happier. I use it mostly for multitasking at work but I’ve jumped on a few games for a few hours once or twice a week and this laptop plays them with ease! Keeping it in balanced mode and plugged in while playing Palworld on Epic settings and it doesn’t even blink an eye!

Excellent machine! Powerful, super portable and beautiful!!! The i9 13900H It is enough to perform any task, even the most demanding. The RTX 4070 is also strong enough to play your favorite games. For me was the best choice!

An excelent gamong laptop for its size. The games run fast and smoothly and I can leave many apps open and games can still be played with lts high end proccessor. The fans are a bit noisy but the speakers blocks the fan noise. The screen resolution is also very impressive. Lastly, this gaming laptop is portable but the battery life is short if your only playing heavy games, but overall the battery life is good if you're doing normal tasks such as using the internet. I would recommend using conservation mode which lets you keep your laptop plugged in so it wont die. It also enables performance mode which increases fan noise and heat, but improves gameplay performance.

The only gripe I have with this laptop is the battery life. It’s fine if you’re not gaming and using battery saver, but otherwise it seems it deplete quite fast.

The laptop arrived with a defective keyboard. The rgb backlight, which I didn't really want, doesn't work on several keys. If I try to just change the backlight to a solid color there are 7 keys that stay different colors. The effect is less obvious with the default rainbow backlight, but it is really too distracting to leave it like that. Seems like a minor cosmetic issue, but for the price I expect everything should work out of the box. Also, the left ctrl key wouldn't depress all the way. I tried to pry it up to see if something was stuck under there and the key broke, so now I can't return it. Reading the forums, there seem to be lots of problems with these keyboards. Everything else works well so far, but I don't have a lot of faith in Lenovo QA.

Absolutely fantastic laptop for the price. Note: even though not officially supported or advertised, you can absolutely upgrade this system to 64Gb of memory via adding a 48Gb stick!

Laptop is great, stays relatively cool and is well built. Only issue so far is battery life, but the option to have USB-C charging is convenient for travel.

I bought the Lenovo Legion gaming laptop from Best Buy expecting a top tier performance considering its $2,000 price point. Ironically, I didn’t even use it for gaming. I used it for everyday tasks and yet it still failed. It worked fine the first year. But as soon as the warranty expired, I kept getting constant blue screens. No amount of troubling shooting helped until eventually it just stopped booting up altogether. There was no physical or water damages. When I spoke to a Best Buy associate recently, they admitted the course i9 13th gen have been notoriously unstable and prone to self destructing over time. I would have appreciated being warned about these issues when I purchased it last year, rather than being sold such an unreliable product. To make it worst, I looked online at Best Buy’s repair costs and just doing a diagnostic, repair, and buying the parts for the repair would practically cost as much as a new laptop. I’m extremely frustrated at how such a premium laptop would fail this quickly when it wasn’t even pushed to its limits and at how the associates weren’t upfront about known issues. I regret this purchase and can’t recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable laptop that will last long.
