Lenovo - refurbished - NOT excellent

I'm sure the machine itself was fine, but as soon as I turned it on, the fan inside was faulty and made a terrible noise. If I pressed on the top hard enough, the fan would slow down to a stop. Then the noise would stop. As soon as I pulled my hand from the top, the fan would start up again and the noise would return. It was a very distracting noise and I new right away that I needed to return it. The return process was great. That's why I'm giving it 2 stars. The description of 'excellent' was very misleading though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
