It is a beautiful machine but it wasn't the one in the picture as you can see in the pics there is no disc tray which is what I needed, also no HDMI but that's was no biggie Best Buy was awesome they paid the return shipping fee. I went to their store got another Lenovo similar to this but a grayish color it has the disc tray and is amazing loaded with features easy to use doesn't run hot like an old HP I had. I will definitely buy this brand again Lenovo brand pros 1 Runs quiet 2 Just the right size doesn't take up a lot of space looks great 3 The system is easy to use and navigate 4 The mouse is a tad fast but love that 5 The sound and imagery are amazing crystal clear 6 Plenty of USB connections

Works great - had exactly what I needed EXCEPT it lacks the processor and TMP module to upgrade to Windows 11. Why is this a pain? Somewhere there is a glitch in Windows 10 and it is stuck in "can't install update." Other than that works fine.

Turned on fine and is working fine BUT one big issue (or at least it was to me) the description claims to have 8gb RAM, it did NOT. Mine came with a measly 4gb RAM and was sloooow (Windows 10 and 4gb RAM not so good) Luckily I had two more 4gb sticks of DDR in the PC I was replacing with this new PC for my son, so I slotted both sticks and now it has 12gb. Its was so slow with 4gb it was almost unbearable. Now its respectable. The other reviews that mention the cheap mouse and keyboard are true but we already had nice versions so that is not a big issue at all. This is only day 1 that my 9 year old has been on it so may add to this if things go wrong but so far so good. I added a usb internet connection which seems much slower that the same connector was in the pc I replaced. Takes much longer to download things.

This Lenovo ThinkCentre Desktop is a great product. It is fast. Since I use Zoom the majority of the time for meetings and other events, it is extremely adaptable with the speed and the processor better than my old pc. I work for a radio station and it helps me keep up with sales and commissions, as well as technical systems analysis. I prefer a desktop to a laptop anyway, so I actually record audio files on my phone and transfer to the Lenovo for transcribing. It is able to handle a large part of my work. I'll be upgrading soon and I will definitely replace this one with another Lenovo.

Preface: I purchased this for $119 with the intent to immediately replace the hard drive with a solid state drive and install Linux as opposed to Windows. Right out of the box, which was in fine condition, the computer was protected well with sturdy bubble wrap. I plugged it in to test, and it booted up. I was able to get into the BIOS with ease, but loading Windows took 15 minutes. This was expected and okay though. I opened it up (watch a 2 minute YouTube video to understand its simple opening mechanics). The internals were in perfectly acceptable condition with just mild amounts of accumulated dust from previous usage. This took 2 minutes with computer duster to clean up. I removed the 4 screws that kept the CPU cooler mounted to inspect the thermal paste. It was immensely dried and old, so I replaced it with Arctic Silver 5. I installed the 240gb solid state drive that I got for $19 on Amazon, tossed the hard drive in the garbage, plugged in my bootable Endeavour OS bootable drive, and away I went. Within 10 minutes, I had finished the installation process and tweaking preferred minor bios settings. With the 24” LG 75 hz monitor purchased for this build, computer, and solid state; my total cost was $240 for an absolutely stellar computer. From completely off to completely usable, I have a boot up time of 12.8 seconds. My CPU idling temps are at 28C, and at 33-36C under standard operating load. Thus, with a little bit of know-how and 1 hour of tinkering, this computer blows and new computers selling for $600 off the shelf out of the water.

This computer listing should be renamed to mystery computer. This is a surprisingly good computer for the price even though it did not come as advertised. 1) I got 4GB ram instead of 8GB 2) Processor correct. 3) Hard drive is a 7200 RPM rotational hard drive. which for a Windows 10 machine is a bottleneck for speed. 4) OS is correct 5) Computer came with an unexpected wired Mouse and Keyboard 6) Rear ports don't match images although it does have the advertised number of usb ports. I bought this computer because I needed a desktop computer to set up as a web server. So I was not expecting much out of this computer in the first place. The fact that I had spare RAM laying around the apartment makes the $4 difference in the 4GB model and the 8GB model is not worth the time or gas to have BestBuy add 4 more GB of ram. To get around the hard drive bottle neck I recommend upgrading the computer to an SSD. I am probably going to replace the Windows 10 with lighter OS for my purposes, though if this computer were to be used as a standard windows desktop, it would be decent for web browsing, basic gaming, secretarial work, watching videos and listening to music.

Being a refurbished machine I was prepared for the worst since I've had to return one from Amazon because it wouldn't even start. I was impressed with this one because I opened it, hooked it up to my monitor, plugged it in and Bam, it booted right up. They give you some start up instructions that come with it, but didn't need it. It's a thin tower that fits anywhere or u can lay it flat. I have my monitor on top of it to save more space. Only thing detrimental was that the cheap mouse they give you was broken into a few parts and a keyboard. I didn't need either one. its a fairly quick boot and it has a lot of extra usb ports. That was a little while back and it still running strong after daily use. No problems so far. With windows 10 installed, I'm happy!

Really hat e leaving a one star review, I've never done that - BUT, if the product can't deliver, one has to be honest. First off, upon firing it up, there was only an ethernet option for internet access. Called the Service Center (which actually was very quick and responsive) and was told this model didn't come with wifi, would have to get an adaptor. Hey, Fred Flintsone! What age are you living in?? To be fair, it might say that in the description somewhere, I didn't go back and check - nonetheless, How many years now has it been since wifi came along?? I just would naturally assume at this point that including wifi capability is standard! Anyway, got an adaptor and things seemed normal for a VERY short while - a day or two. I bought this for the kids in the family to play simple games - Roblox and such. I don't think that's really asking a lot from the processor and memory. Long story short, within a day it couldn't do it. won't even pull up the software. After numerous attempts at updates and other fixes anyone in the family could think of, it's DOA where the simple games are concerned. Remaining online is also an issue. Granted, it could be the adaptor at fault there, but frankly, that is a problem I shouldn't have had to face in the first place. Just FYI, we have a commercial grade wifi system in the house running multiple machines with no issues whatsoever - this isn't an issue with shoddy wifi equipment or people with no electronics experience. The machine simply isn't capable of doing the very simple tasks it was purchased for. Wish I had returned it rather than trying to fix the issues, but it's too late now. I certainly wouldn't buy another, and STRONGLY recommend you avoid this one too.

It’s spec says it has windows 10 home, but they shipped me one that has windows 10 pro. It does not have windows media player. It’s spec says it has 8 USB’s, but the one I received has 4 or 5 USB’s. It does not have DVD drive door and space, it will use an USB port to hook up a DVD drive, although its picture shows it has DVD door and DVD space in it. It does not have dedicated keyboard port and mouse port, you have to use USB ports for keyboard and mouse connections, it does not have Wi-Fi, you have to use a USB port to connect a Wi-Fi adaptor. Then there is no spare USB port left for USB memory card to insert. I have to return it. It is not honest way, I have to say.

If you need a PC for projects like surfing the internet , setting up music library, emailing this will do the job. Does not have HDMI video out so I also had to purchase a serial to HDMI adaptor.

I needed a second computer for work and I ordered this on sale for $180. I am very pleased with this Lenovo computer. It came with a mouse and keyboard that were very cheaply made so I am glad I ordered a gaming mouse and keyboard also from Best Buy to use with the computer. It is fast, and has quite a bit of memory and works well for my needs. Highly recommend!

Good for the price, not for gaming exactly but it’s a good starter.

Tip when buying a refurb, I would maske sure you buy a gen 4 or later CPU. That generation is still fast enough for general computing today. For the money this was an excellent value.

I love this computer. This is my 1st experience buying a Lenovo computer. I am very impressed so far; especially it being refurbished. I would definitely consider purchasing another. I am actually using it now as it is still running like new with no upgrade. I have no complaints. It a well-made computer.

Excellent value for an excellent computer. The only thing is that there is no Wi-Fi adapter so I had to buy a USB adapter to plug in

I really can't give a full honest opinion as I have only had the computer less than a month. I will say, things seem to run smoother and faster. The things I don't like is I'm forced to deal with not being able to set my own browser and am forced to use Microsoft Edge. This makes me have to ME to find the browser I want so I can use it. Forcing people to take extra steps on a computer they own is preposterous. For this, I have to give a BIG thumbs down.

I was happy to pick up this desktop. During my chat, the tech assured me that it would work with the upgrade to Windows 11. That was not the case, it doesn't meet the criteria for the install.
