A: Hi I'm also looking to buy a used Thinkpad but for some reason information is not easy to get about these laptops, so I thought I'd shared what I found so far...These were probably leased out to businesses so wear and tear is likely high; Look ar the Processor Generation to estimate age of laptop (e.g 8th Intel I7 8th Gen 8550U is from Q3 2017...) so this one being a 6th gen is likely from 2016...so pretty old. The text says 2020 but that does not make any sense. It could be but since whomever is selling these laptops is not forthcoming with answer I'd expect the old older date to be the real data.
