I have been using this laptop for about a week now and am able to say it gets the job done, but just barely. Firstly, one thing that caught my eye (not performance related) was the packaging. The unboxing to this was a little but of a let down. They are using a no plastic approach which is cool and all but when it comes down to it the initial experience started under my expectations which really set the mood. This laptop does however had a super clean look to it, the cosmic blue is very eye-catching. The laptop itself has only USB-C ports which is ok to me but I could imagine that others still need the standard USBs for some of their devices. The touch screen is very vivid and bright as its OLED - no complaints there. The main gripe I have is with the power button, its on the side of the laptop. I can imagine that when/if this is in a laptop bag or ever on a desk that it will have a higher than normal change of getting jammed or broken. This seems like a miss to me. A power button should be on the keyboard, while being protected by the screen when the laptop is closed. The size of this laptop is a plus though. It is very thin and light weight which holds true to its name. From a performance standpoint the specs are middle of the road. 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage. You know what you're signing up for. I did not run into any severe performance issues when using this in my day-to-day. This laptop should be able to do whatever is needed from a performance standpoint, but keep in mind this is not a gaming laptop and does not pretend to be either. All in all if youre looking for a laptop that gets the job done with no special bells or whistles then Id recommend this as a possible solution to your needs. The touch screen is vivid and easy on the eyes. The exterior has some (minor) flaws but not a deal breaker in my opinion.

This was packed well, and arrived safely. Taking the computer out of the box, I was impressed with how slim and light it is, at only .63 inches high, and just 2.7 pounds. The top and top and bottom covers are alloy, and do show some fingerprints. The overall construction fit and finish is impeccable. Turning the computer on, brings up the usual Windows startup screen, and I went through the startup and basic updates easily. When using the laptop, the keyboard was remarkable. Two level back light, a good key travel made typing quite easy, and the large and responsive touch pad worked perfectly, clicks were accurate. The 4 speaker stereo speaker system is pretty good, and on par with the sound small speakers can produce. Volume is adequate, but there is no headphone jack to use with headphones or audio out source. Only option would be blue tooth. The 14 inch touch OLED screen boasts 600 nits brightness, 1920 X 1200 resolution at a 60Hz refresh rate. Touch response was very smooth and accurate. Screen is very bright with saturated colors, and deep blacks. Excellent for movies, videos, and everyday uses. As can be seen, it displays pics with awesome color and detail. Storage is a 512Gb SSD, ram is 16Gb LPDDR5X running at 9600Mhz. The processor is a Snapdragon X2 Plus, 6 core with a boost of 4.04Ghz. The NPU maximum performance is 80 trillions operations per second. Battery life is rated up to 16 hours – I only charged to the 80% level, so would expect less.... The computer has only 3 USB “C” ports, a display connection via USB port. Sadly lacking any USB “A” ports, and again, no headphone jack. As to actual use.... The Snapdragon processor, along with 16Gb ram provided surprisingly good performance and battery life. After removing some “bloatware” and limiting start up apps, the computer did not slow down or “choke” even with numerous browser tabs open, or with multiple apps running. Overall, I was quite impressed with the beautiful OLED screen while watching movies, videos, and the overall performance while surfing, running apps, even light gaming. This is not a gaming machine, but for most home users, students, or professionals working “back and forth”, this remains an excellent choice at the price, but even better if you catch it on sale. I highly recommend.....

This is my second Windows 11 system built on Snapdragon, and my first one left a strong impression - fast, efficient, and genuinely enjoyable to use. Choosing another Snapdragon machine was an easy decision. Lenovo’s newest Yoga Slim 7 14Q8Y11 is, in my view, one of the strongest Windows on ARM ultraportables of 2026. The Snapdragon X2 Plus platform shows a clear step forward in real world performance, and when you combine that with excellent battery life and a premium OLED panel, the whole system feels polished and modern. Setup was smooth, quick, and locked in - exactly the kind of start you want with new hardware. Everything initialized cleanly, updates installed quickly, and the system settled into a stable, ready to use state. It’s the kind of first run experience that tells you the platform is well tuned. Installed Steam and Civilization VI and ran it under DirectX 12 just for fun. Surprisingly, even without a beefy GPU on board, the Lenovo pushed through the benchmarks at high quality settings with smooth, consistent performance. Part of that comes from the NPU quietly handling background AI tasks so the CPU and GPU stay focused on the game. The end result is honestly astonishing - especially for a system that isn’t a gaming machine. My first Snapdragon system used Qualcomm’s Hexagon NPU rated at 45 TOPS, and it was a solid step forward - fast, efficient, and noticeably more responsive than earlier NPUs. It set a good baseline. The new Lenovo Yoga Slim 7, with the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU rated up to 80 TOPS, pushes well past that ceiling. The jump in capability is obvious as soon as you start working with it, and the entire platform feels stronger and more dialed in across the board. It delivers the kind of balance, capability, and refinement that shows just how far Windows on ARM has come. Bottom line: I have several laptops and ultraportables, including a top shelf 16" Ultra 9 with 32GB of memory - and I haven’t touched it since the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 showed up.

When I needed a new laptop for work, I selected the Lenovo Yoga slim. I like its thin design and light(er) weight. Making it easy to carry from my office to the conference room. The first thing I noticed when turning it on is the sharp, vivid colors on the screen. It is really quite vibrant. I won't get any laptop that doesn't have a touch screen. Although I use the tracking pad, I instinctively reach for the screen when I want to select or move something. When using a laptop that is not touch screen, that is very frustrating! The touchscreen is responsive and responds quickly and accurately. The 14" size is perfect for portability but doesn't feel "squished". It can lay flat but does not "flip" for a tablet. If this were for home use, that would be a no-go for me. For personal use, I want my laptop to convert to a tablet for ease of use. The keyboard is backlit which I like. The keys feel very smooth-almost too much so. Almost slippery. The keys feel a little compact. Even with average sized hands, I find myself drifting outwards and hitting cap lock instead of the "a" key! A few downsides- The camera does not have a privacy cover. Not an issue for work but I would not want that for a personal computer. I do like the effects that I can use when on video meetings. As soon as it was turned on, it has needed repeated updates and restarts. That is a bit frustrating when I am trying to turn it on and get going with work. I need to wait for downloads, restarts etc. There are only 3 ports- All "C" type. If you need a USB or HDMI port, this will not work for you. The cosmic blue is very nice. I really like the color. For the price, I would expect more than 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. They are adequate for work, but you might find more power and memory out there for the same price. The sound can be a little "metallic" sounding for some videos. I have not had the chance to use it for a video meeting yet but will soon.

There are many good-to-great laptops on the market, and you can spend the day comparing specifications and attributes. I believe there is general agreement among power users that with all other things being equal, no one makes a more user-friendly laptop keyboard than Lenovo. This laptop keyboard compares to the one in my premium Lenovo Thinkpad. This 14” 2K OLED Touchscreen Laptop has the footprint of many 13” units due to its narrow bezels. And weighing in around 2.7 pounds, it’s a contender in weight with any similar-sized Windows or non-Windows laptops. I’ve used other laptops with the Snapdragon X2 Plus processor, and it doesn’t disappoint when it's used for intensive productivity programs and light gaming. And with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SDD, I wasn’t left hanging due to bottlenecks in processes. There’s no noticeable change in performance when operating on battery or when plugged in. The display is 1920 x 1200 (WUXA) with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a 600 nit brightness rating. I’ve had no issues seeing the screen when positioned in a brightly lit room at a desk near windows when it was clear and sunny. Where Snapdragon processors excel is battery life. I routinely worked and watched videos after work on this device, and by the end of the 2nd day I still had 21% battery life left. I can’t emphasize enough how slim and light this unit is, and there are a variety of folio-style cases available that don’t add very much weight or bulk. The included ports are 3 USC-C 4 and a DisplayPort over USB-C 1.4. The front-facing 9.2-megapixel camera is fantastic for web meetings, and there is a privacy button on the side of the unit rather than having you manually slide a cover over the lens. The keyboard is backlit in addition to a touch screen display. There are 4 stereo speakers, including 2 woofers and 2 tweeters that work with the Dolby Atmos sound system. Additionally, this is a Copilot+ PC with a dedicated function key.

Overall, it is a good, very light laptop for daily use that has very modern look and is fairly priced. It has a very sleek design (0.55 inch height and only ~2.5 lbs). It has a metal chasis and glass display which gives it a permium look and feel. The 2K screen is vivid and has an infinite contrast ratio with perfect black levels. It has 1920×1200 resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate. There are 4 speakers and the sound is pretty good even at the high volume. The webcam is pretty good. It has high resolution and is does an excellent job at face recongnition to provide quick and easy login. There is a webcam off switch on the right side but it does not kill voice. There are 3 USB4 ports (2 on the left side and 1 on the right). On the right side, you also have the power switch and webcam video kill switch. There is no headphone jack! The keyboard and touchpad are very good. The keys feel springy and snap back with a satisfying sound. Touchpad has matte surface and is is large relative to the 14-inch display. This is a mechanical pad, not haptic – feels precise, and requires just the right amount of effort, and aren’t too loud. And finally, the performance of this laptop is good too. It was able to most of my everyday tasks without any issues. The memory is only 16GB so it might not be that good at high performance tasks but was good enough for my use.

Let's get the elephant out of the room first; this is a Copilot+ oriented laptop. Copilot is preinstalled, and yes, it does take up a fair bit of allocation space (Ram). If that is something that irks you, it can be "removed", but requires a bit of work. The laptop itself came packaged in a box that was plastic-free and eco friendly, which I love to see. Came with a nice start-up guide, and general information regarding the laptop. The included 65W type-c charger was nice to have, as I had never previously owned a laptop that charged via type-c, so glad I didn't have to go out and get something. The device itself has a very nice OLED touch capacitive screen that is just the perfect size for daily use. The screen is surprisingly bright, and being an OLED you get super nice picture quality and contrast. The screen is super responsive, and I have had zero issues using it for general web browsing, reading word files, and is just a nice quality of life feature that could've been skipped over. The chassis is completely metal, and does have some flex, but with such a thin laptop it's kinda given that it's gonna not be rock solid. The thinness of the laptop is primarily achieved thanks to the lack of USB-A ports (which can be a downside to some people, but that's why USB hubs exist). The laptop comes with 3 type-C ports, one with passive charging. The device also has an included toggle switch for the 9MP camera on the laptop which is super nice to have if you're paranoid about that sorta stuff. The keyboard is backlit, and is personally the best laptop keyboard I have ever used. The keys are super tactile, and with just enough travel that it was a pretty seamless transition from a full size keyboard with num pad I daily used. The large touch pad is great, and has me not even thinking about using/bringing a mouse with me, so it gets the job done. The only major gripe i've had with the laptop is that it only came with 16GB of ram, but given the times we live in, it's not the end of the world. I have seen Ram utilization hover around 70-80% when browsing the web, so that's the only major thing that could irk some people. Overall, for the price I would say this is an excellent buy if you're looking for a laptop for web-browsing, school work, or other general tasks. It is not going to help you run multiple concurrent heavy-load tasks, or allow you to run 20 tabs at once, but it's a great buy if you're wanting something premium, portable, and mildly productive.

It seemed great, especially the OLED display and amazing keyboard, but the battery life was disappointing compared to what I was expecting and had heard about snapdragon laptops, and the laptop couldn't play a full screen YouTube video without lagging. I'm guessing it was being over throttled in someway, but it was just on default settings. I returned it after 1 day of use, not worth it for $1300, it should work out of the box perfectly.

Laptop works well with good battery life, nice keyboard, excellent display. Some of the pre-installed Lenovo software is a bit aggressive, like prompting me to buy a Lenovo cloud backup solution even after I thought I uninstalled the Lenovo software. Limitations I was aware of, and you should be too: only has USB C ports (but 3 of them), and no HDMI ports. Most Windows laptops still offer at least one USB A port, and often two. They made the laptop super thin and almost without room for those larger ports. I already have a USB C dongle that works well for connecting it to my keyboard, mouse, display, but make sure you're aware of the ports. It is nicely lightweight for carrying in a backpack, but still feels heavier than I expected on my lap. It's thin but dense. Also other reviewer's comments about fingerprints are true. I was surprised how easily they show up. I don't really care that much, but it's good to know ahead of time. This is my first Snapdragon laptop. Runs the basic software I use pretty well, has plenty of battery life for all day use (or several days if I just use it a little each day), and everything seems fast. I was hoping the laptop would be quieter. The fan is decently quiet during normal usage, but it makes a soft squealing noise when under pressure (comparable to noises I'd attribute to an old fashioned hard drive, even though this is SSD). I'm not sure if that's the fan or something else, but slightly annoying. Was hoping for quieter operation and is the main reason I only gave 4 stars. I also had trouble getting the builtin Outlook for Windows to startup. From what I'm reading, Microsoft had a bad update go out in August 2026 that caused many Snapdragon users trouble, and it took my a couple hours to figure that out. That's not really Lenovo's fault, but I did expect better from Microsoft. On the value front, I wouldn't pay full MSRP, but I bought when it was hundreds of dollars off and seemed like a good deal relative to other options.

This laptop was exactly what my wife needed and wanted. I did quite a bit of research (thanks to Google AI Mode) on laptops for my wife. This laptop proved to be everything she prioritized, plus it had the OLED screen that I wanted and BestBuy had it discounted to $799. We went to BestBuy to look at several models after the research and she really fell in love with touchscreen models. I told her that touchscreen models fell into the $1200+ budget and ours was $800. We left without a decision, but I got home and looked this Lenovo Yoga Slim model up again to look over some reviews. To my surprise, it HAD THE TOUCHSCREEN! I told her she needed to go to a different BestBuy store and see about it. I kept an eye on the BB website and the price dropped another $50 down to $749. We went that evening and picked it up. I wished I had bought two! Everything about this little machine is wonderful! The soft click of the keyboard and trackpad, the gorgeous OLED, the compact size, the processor that hardly uses battery when doing typical productivity or browsing the internet, and my wife and I actually love the Cosmic Blue; so much so, we went on Lenovo's website and ordered the Cosmic Blue Yoga bluetooth mouse. Fantastic laptop! So long as you don't want it for gaming (Snapdragon processor's are not allowed by many high-end online games), it is perfect for everything else. BestBuy was also great! the young man that helped us out was actually surprised at the great price as well. He was very helpful, patiently answered all our questions, and was well informed on every question. The week after we purchased, the price returned to the list price of $1299. We got a steal!!! But having used this little Yoga Slim for about a month now (only had to charge it 4X!), I would actually be willing to pay the full price to purchase it.

For me, the best feature about this laptop is its very quiet, soft press touchpad. It's not a haptic touchpad, but for me personally, it feels even better and has a more satisfying click than a haptic feedback touchpad on more expensive machines, including Lenovo's $2000 plus Aura Edition models. The keyboard is very good, no complaints, I also like how thin and light this laptop is. The battery performance is very good, also no complains. What I do wish this laptop had, is a higher end, brighter 3K resolution and 120hz oled screen instead of a 2K 60hz, but you don't always get everything you want in life and got to prioritize. The 512 GB SSD may be too small for some people, but good enough for my purposes, which is just basic tasks, browsing, emails, streaming, etc. I did run into some compatibility issues due to the ARM based Snapdragon processor with a couple of apps I downloaded from the Microsoft store, such as HP's printer app and chat GPT. I switched to a Canon Pixma printer, and had no issues with Canon Print app.

I ordered the open box "excellent" condition but it came covered in dust, smudges on the case, touchscreen and trackpad. It was dirty. Basically in fair condition at best. I called Best Buy to complain and they recommended I take it to the nearest store. They tried to give me a 20% discount but nobody could figure out how to do that; not the cashier, not the manager she called...so I said just return it.

I haven’t bought a new computer in quite some time and to be honest wasn’t sure what to get. I reviewed a lot of different computers. Talk to a different text and the consensus was Lenovo was a top-notch brand with very little issues.. so I took the plunge. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how fast this computer is how modern it feels how easy it is to use and all the features. This is highly recommended coming from an old guy like me.

I just got this computer so I don't know how it will last in the long term but the battery life, speed, and display are all great. I also love the touch screen. Only thing that can be annoying is the computer shows all you fingerprints on the outside and I don't like the feeling of wearing anything thing meatal on my wrists when I'm typing.

I love this laptop. It is quick, bright, easy to use. However, the external display has been horrible. I have tried all sorts of options and I cannot get it to work. I have gone to the BIOS level - nothing. Once the display works - as soon as the machine "sleeps" - it never recognizes the display again. Beyond frustrated at this point.

We were confused about what laptop to get our college freshman to last for their entire college career. An associate at Best Buy showed us around 7 different laptops but his personal recommendation was the Lenovo Yoga. So far the recommendation has lived up to the hype. The battery life has kept up with the hectic college schedule and the memory had been plenty to hold all projects with room to spare.

I am very disappointed with this laptop. It becomes extremely slow when working with multiple browser tabs and a few applications at the same time. It frequently freezes or gets stuck, forcing me to wait or restart my work. Another major issue is the lack of proper support for the Samsung Odyssey G9 ultrawide monitor. I had constant problems trying to use the monitor correctly, which was very frustrating for my workflow. I expected much better performance for a laptop in this price range, especially one marketed as a Copilot+ PC. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations, and I would not recommend it if you need reliable multitasking or use an ultrawide monitor.

I haven't had this laptop very long, but so far so good. I am a Lenovo fan overall. This is the fourth Lenovo laptop for my family, one of which lasted 10 years. This one will hopefully last as long. So far this one is meeting all my expectations as well.

At first, I had trouble setting it up because it would loop when adding microsoft log in info. I took it to geek squad and they were able to fix it. Product is lightweight, seems to have good battery life and high quality display.

Good resolution of screen, fast processing, touch screen. Only bad thing that it gets dirty like with fingerprints on the outside parts and it’s easy to see on dark blue surface of laptop.
