older printer (4-5 years), harder to find the ink for it now a days, lexmark used to have an entire sectio fo ink, now they only had a few boxs on the shelf, probably will get a new printer when the ink runs out this time.

Overall great ink. The quality is great. Would buy many more.

Good quality, prints true black, very easy to install into printer, not as messy as some ink cartridges...BUT needs to be replaced too often, therefore ends up being quite expensive. If the price was lower, it could be a great value.If you have a printer that requires this ink cartridge, you have no choice, so choose your printer carefully after checking out the price of ink. Lexmark does make high quality products, however.

love lexmark printers/ cartridge has no life at all/ computer program stinks/ remove cartridge to clean and puts u thru ringer to reprogram/ cartridge runs out of ink before it does on computer program due to seldom use/ take cartridge out to seal and have to go thru whole setup again wasting ink/ wow lexmark has gone so downhill

The description says it's compatible with Lexmark X2580, but it's not.

Runs out of black ink very fast. Cannot be refilled.You must buy the 28A cartridge to have the ability to get it refiled. Lexmark locks the cartridge when it runs out of ink. Do not waste your money on the regular 28, buy the 28A.
