Disappointing Customer Service Experience
RACHANA Posted
I purchased an AC unit from Best Buy that arrived with a broken fan blade, which was discovered during professional installation. As a result, I paid $200 for the initial installation and had to pay another $200 to install the replacement unit. Throughout the process, I received conflicting information from customer service regarding pickup, replacement, and compensation. Despite being assured that compensation would be provided, I was later informed that no compensation was available. To make matters worse, the replacement AC was delivered four steps below my house and left in the rain instead of being placed on my covered porch. While defects can happen, the inconsistent communication, broken commitments, and poor handling of the situation made this a very disappointing customer service experience.

Cools and heats great! A bit noisy when cooling.

This unit is not packaged well enough to prevent from damage during shipping. It also weighs over 130 pounds and is very large and cumbersome. The first 2 units ordered arrived damaged. Finally, the 3rd unit arrived with no damages. The front flap with filter attachment rattles and is very loud when the condenser is running.

Hello there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand that your LG - 18,000 BTU 230V Window-Mounted Air Conditioner with Supplemental Heat Function is cooling and heating well, but you have experienced a rattling noise during operation.

We understand your inquiry and recommend ensuring the front grille and filter are fully seated and snapped into place, as a secure fit can often eliminate vibrations while the condenser is running. Worth Buying!!!

Had to replace a GE window ac unit that only lasted 16 months. This LG-1000 Sq. AC unit was the best purchase for my den area. It cools down the space in 30 minutes and keeps the room comfortable. This was an upgrade from what I had and, for me, it was worth it.

We love this unit! It gives off the perfect amount of heat and air for a 500 sq feet room! It’s very heavy but not too difficult to install!

So happy we went with this AC! We live in Texas so a well working AC is a must and this exceeded our expectations. I love that it has a heater, so that way when it’s not quite cold enough to start a fire, we can stay warm without using other heaters
