A huge improvement over standard TV speakers. The sound quality is impressive, with clear highs and surprisingly deep bass for such a compact unit. While it doesn’t replace a dedicated subwoofer, the bass response is better than expected for its size. Setup was incredibly simple. I connected it to my LG TV using an HDMI cable, and it practically configured itself with just a few quick on-screen prompts. It syncs seamlessly with the TV—powering on and off automatically and allowing volume control through the TV remote, so there’s no need for a second remote. It looks sleek and fits perfectly in a home office setup, both visually and performance-wise. The soundbar comes with an HDMI cable and a power adapter (standard 120V outlet), which is a nice bonus. It also features rubber feet for stable placement on a countertop and screw holes on the bottom if you prefer to mount it to a stand.

it’s an obvious improvement from the tv speakers so you can hear the dialog. compact size has enough bass for a small bedroom but i would recommend one with a subwoofer for bigger rooms.

A space saver. I can play my Apple Music and TV. I needed a home sound speaker system. I went searching on my BEST BUY app. So I decided on a soundbar instead of a bulky stereo system. A LG soundbar with built in woofer, bluetooth connectivity unbelievable sound and bass. I got it on sale :)8

Don’t purchase this piece of junk. I would never recommend it to anyone. I am returning it today. Does not work at all. Cannot receive any kind of support even though I purchased a protection plan. Best Buy’s description is not entirely accurate. They don’t tell you that you need to spend more money for an adapter that doesn’t work for the tv. My tv does not have an HDMI Arc port. The soundbar has it and it only wants to use Bluetooth connectivity. Which the Bluetooth connectivity doesn’t work either. Purchase a Bose or a JBL instead. I rather spend more money on something reliable and less headache.

Hi, Merlyn. Thank you for reaching out about your LG Soundbar (S20A) model. We understand the importance of having a soundbar that connects easily and works right out of the box—especially when you’ve already invested in a protection plan and expected a straightforward setup.
One helpful step you can try is connecting the soundbar using the optical (TOSLINK) input, which is the recommended method when a TV does not have an HDMI ARC port. This connection provides stable audio without requiring additional adapters. For more guidance, visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-S20A.AUSALLK. We’d be glad to take a closer look at your experience and help you move forward. Please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com so our team can assist you directly. ^Juvy

I have this paired with an LG B5 OLED TV, and it is a significant improvement over the built-in TV speakers. It was connected via the HDMI ARC input with the included HDMI cable from the soundbar package contents. It was easy to set-up, and easy to enable in the TV settings. I also paired it to my phone via Bluetooth, and also enjoy streaming music to the speakers as well. I am very pleased with the sound; and these speakers are affordable too. I didn’t want a separate subwoofer, or elaborate speaker system, just something simple, and this soundbar fit the bill perfectly.

It’s good if you just want it strictly for watching tv and movies. If you want it to listen to music then you might want to invest in something with a bit more oomph. This has really great mids and highs but is severely lacking in the bass department. I only got it since I wanted to try out the LG WOW orchestra since I have a compatible tv however I found that my tv speakers sound almost exactly the same as the soundbar. It’s not bad but only if you use it just for movies and tv don’t expect this blow your mind when it comes to music.

This product is exactly what I wanted. The sound is good, I like the look of this sound bar and it doesn't need a bulky sub woofer.

It's a basic sound bar and does the job. It's compact size for tv's under 50 inch. No subwoofer or big bass, just good clear sound. It doesn't get super loud if that's what you're looking for. It's really intended for smaller rooms. It uses only digital optical cable as well.

Surprising really loud. I got this as open box and wasn’t expecting such good sound quality for under $100. I use it for my 27” monitor as it fits perfectly underneath it and still provides a sleek minimalist look.

The size is precisely what I need, and it fits perfectly where I need it to be. The crisp and bass sound is wonderful! It’s a steal for me!

Purchased this for a second TV. Main tv, I have a $1000 soundbar. I wear hearing aids so I don’t need loud crazy theater sound. I just need good quality voice enhancement. After reading the good reviews of this unit, I decided to go get one as I was not spending another $1000. When I got there I was advised I would not like a 2 Chanel soundbar which this is. Man was he wrong and I’m glad I didn’t back down. The speech is great and I was pleasantly surprised at the base and quality of this unit!! I’m sure the expensive ones serve other purposes but this unit is fantastic. Wife who does not have hearing loss is even impressed with the sound and said I don’t play this one as loud as my $1000 unit.

I use this as my personal soundbar in my bedroom. One of the things I look for in TVs or soundbars is automatic volume control. It took some researching online, but I figured out how to make it work. Sound quality is quite good for the price. Plus being able to control it with an app rather than just the remote is also a good thing.

I seen some reviews as this was not good,I have another outlook on it.It was easy to set up,sounds good when you adjust the mids high and base to your preference, for $100 you cant go wrong.

Soundbar is a little hard to learn how to use, especially the volume. You don't know how loud you are going until it's too late because it takes a couple seconds for the sound to catch up to the button pushes! Once at the correct volume, it definitely sounds way better than just the TV speaker!

Has good sound but having trouble with HDMI ARC connection. Need to use app on phone to change back to bluetooth then back to HDMI ARC to get correct sound after turning tv on. Would use digital optical out but it does not have that connection. LG tv is only a few months old and soundbar is only a month old.
