Customer Ratings & Reviews

Great microwave easy to use . Very slick and attractive design. Definitely bigger then i thought it would be once I put in its place but fits perfect. The chimes that go off are pleasant,no loud irritating buzzer noise its a soft jingle that is almost nice to hear. When heating up food a nice white soft light comes on inside you can cleary see the food inside the microwave.

Having had several microwaves, I must say this is the best one I've ever had. It cooks everything to perfection. Its sleek look goes well with all my other appliances. It's easy to keep clean and has the capacity for large items.

Overall, this is an excellent microwave oven. But there are things to mention. This is our 3rd or 4th? LG Microwave [I've lost count] because the previous ones did not last for enough years. They just stopped working, with no warning and made an electrical smell! One and possibly another were replaced during time period. We are a household of just 2 adults so the use is light and very responsible. The oven is used mostly to cook vegetables, bake apples and potatoes, defrost foods and heat leftovers and coffee. The last unit made strange squeaky sounds when running and eventually the door opening button did not work properly. So now we have the latest model. It is very good looking. The size is great for a large bowl or tray. The oven is very powerful so you need to start off with less time than you think you will need to prevent overcooking or scorching. The sensor cooking keys work well. The interior is very easy to clean. An annoying thing about our newest microwave is that when the door is wide open it does not stay that way and as it moves to close it hits your arm or the cookware you are placing in or taking out. Recommended overall, but you must buy the service contract, register the product and save all your receipts. Lastly, the day our unit died I contacted Best Buy and worked with a remote advisor. He was wonderful! I ordered the new unit to be shipped right to my house at no additional cost. He said it would take a couple of weeks but it arrived in just 4 days! OKAY!! Here are photos of the dead unit [chrome] and the new unit [black].

It's a microwave that does what its supposed to. Build quality seems good and it beeps quieter than my old one so that's a plus. Not much to say. If it was bad it would have gotten returned and I'd leave a low review. It does what it needs to do so...

Micrewave works great. My wife loves the look better than the GE oven it replaced. And I am happy it fit into our existing trim kit.

I really like my new microwave!! It’s very spacious. And it looks great on the counter.

Easy to use. A little difficult to read directions on the surface as it is so light and blends into the black. Performs as needed.

I've had this microwave for a couple of days and can easily say there is absolutely nothing about this unit I dislike. I especially appreciate the function of turning off the child safety lock because the microwave is in a tall cabinet cubby and the clearance at the side would not accommodate using the dual hand method to open the door. The unit is quiet and the control panel and features are straightforward. Longevity is unknown but I did purchase the extended warranty so that remains to be seen.

We got this to replace our Built-in GE 2.0 cu microwave. This fitted perfectly with the outframe and inner components. Externally - Very sleep and Modern looking Does smudge a bit but can be quickly wiped off. Operation_ Quite operation and the buttons are more modern, sleek and softer compared to previous one. Inside is grey compared to the white my old one was.. This makes it harder to peek inside if you are like me and want to see how the food is progressing along.. not a biggie. The chimes when done cooking are pleasant compared to the older (12 year ago technology) Food doesn't splatter like the older microwaves Does have the quick cook presets for multiple minutes like my GE but its not hard. At the price point - this is a great buy.

The space will accommodate full sized dinner plates for warming. The inverter seems to allow for even cooking instead of the constant on off cycles normally experienced with older microwaves. Intuitive design for cooking settings and a door latch that is easy to use for adults but not so for small children. A bonus for me is that this unit fit nicely in a cutout we designed when remodling years ago. Did I mention it is whisper quite.

Fantastic microwave! Sleek design & works great! Great value for the price!

I like this microwave oven. It cooks food evenly, and it has a lovely little tune it plays when you start cooking something (very short, just 3-4 notes). The child-safe feature is simply a little button to the right of the door-opening mechanism. You can disable it if you want, but it's not a problem for us. So far, no problems at all.

I have purchased this same microwave at least 7 times. It has excellent performance, multiple cooking settings, is top quality, and comes in at a great price. I highly recommend it.

After searching for a replacement, I’m so happy I found this LG. It fits the trim kit from my old 27-inch Whirlpool (Model: WMCS7024RZ) perfectly. The sensor heating is a standout feature—it heats food evenly and efficiently every time. Plus, it’s one of the quietest microwaves we’ve ever owned. We all love it!

Nice features! The size is great and easy to use with a chime sound when food is ready instead of a loud alarm sound!

Great microwave. Much larger than expected but that was my poor planning. Warning though, my door shattered today. Not really sure the how or why of it but this is the first time I’ve seen it. Still a good microwave though.

10/10 I love the performance, super safe for kids

I’ve been very happy with this LG microwave so far. It heats food evenly and quickly, which is really what matters most. Whether I’m reheating leftovers or making something from scratch, everything comes out consistently hot without cold spots. The controls are straightforward and easy to understand, and I appreciate that it doesn’t feel overly complicated. The preset options are actually useful, and the keypad is responsive. It’s also quieter than my previous microwave, which was a nice surprise. Build quality feels solid, and the interior is easy to clean. I also like the sleek design—it looks modern and fits in well with the rest of my kitchen appliances. Overall, this LG microwave delivers reliable performance, good quality, and ease of use at a reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable microwave from a trusted brand.

I needed a built in microwave for my kitchen renovation that wasn’t going in my island or counter. Somewhere out of the way and not taking up space. My coffee area was the perfect spot. The microwave does the job and easy to keep clean. Didn’t take long to reheat food

fast efficient and quiet, so many features and very easy to operate, definitely a step forward to the future
