French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator - Stainless Steel, Model # LFXC22526S has a built-in bypass filter so you do not need to turn the water shutoff valve for the water supply line. However, replacing the water filter causes a small amount of water (around 1 oz. or 2.5cc) to drain. Wrap a cloth around the front end of the water filter cover to collect any leaking water. Hold the water filter upright, once it is removed, to prevent any remaining water from spilling out of the water filter...^IFV
A: Both ice makers have an off switch. I keep the freezer one turned off so we can use the space for food rather than ice. We just have the fridge one running and we've had no overflowing even though we rarely use the ice.
Q: How is LG stainless steel finish regarding fingerprint resistant?
A: This fridge is awesome when it comes to fingerprints--none show up. I owned this fridge and a stainless steel one from Samsung and I'm constantly cleaning the Samsung because every fingerprint shows! The LG finish is great for daily use and it really goes well with all of my stainless steel finish appliances in my kitchen. You will enjoy this fridge!
