Selected this TV as it was the largest we could find to fit under our kitchen cabinets. The true 1080P HD picture and sound quality blew our old LG 720P TV out of the water.

Purchased for my kitchen. TV has excellent picture even in bright room. More inputs and smart features than other TVs of same size and price.

This TV was exactly what I wanted for our bedroom. It was small enough to fit our designated location, convenient because it had a single support stand and not the wide spread feet like most TV's these days, good picture, and adequate sound quality for bedroom use. At 27 inches, it was the perfect size: larger than the 24 inch TV it replaced and didn't overwhelm like a 32 inch set. Now for a few rough spots: Documentation: Almost none with the exception of a sequence of drawings that almost meant something. The base had to be attached but the symbols for the back plate attachment used to cover any cables were not clear until I broke one of the tabs that holds it in place. That snap was an a-ha moment that clarified the diagram. Another problem with the diagrams is the picture trying to prevent you from pealing off a protective plastic cover over the screen. Apparently the screen has a mat surface and not a glossing surface like other screens I have delt with. There is a small diagram of fingers attempting to peal off a film with a circle with a line through it as the only warning that this is not a necessary step. There were no verbal warnings in any language against trying to remove the mat layer. And finally, I will agree with many others that the remote could use some revision. The buttons are small and dense packed with symbols that may mean something to an LG specialist but may remain a mystery to someone trying to figure them out for the first time. I finally checked in with a Best Buy sales representative who could interpret most of them. I later located a drawing of the remote with clear explanations for each button while wading through LG web documentation a week later. It shouldn't be this difficult to find. And finally, I am old and all I wanted to do was hook a cable box to the HDMI input and be able to watch cable channels. Hooking up the box was easy but finding the remote button to access the HDMI input was hard. I now have a system that works to my satisfaction. When I feel adventuresome some day, I will attempt to hook up our streaming services for full use of the TV. I know it's possible. I am clearly not a member of the modern demographic these things are intended for. Still, it's a great TV filling in a slot where there are few or no other possibilities.

Likes: I like the size & sound is surprisingly decent. You can attach via bluetooth, speaker/s, soundbar. Dislikes: You need to download & print manual (or just download the manual plus warranty info & store on a tablet/phone) Computer generated voice talks you through setup, but it's off speed (speaks annoyingly fast). This can be adjusted, but you won't know how to do that till later when going through the settings. Which there are many, & cumbersome to find & go through. Also, if you stay too long on main home screen after turning on TV, the LG channels viewing option comes on automatically. Again you can turn this off, but you need to dig through the settings to find it. The remote unfortunately has a delay when you use it. You will initially think it is malfunctioning or has dead batteries. But seconds later after pressing a button on the remote while in settings, the screen will respond. This lag is the most annoying thing with the TV. Once you have adjusted picture & sound to your taste-it works fine. The cumbersome setup, lack of manual, annoying AI voice, and laggy remote while going through settings are the shortcomings. The remote works normally with volume and channel changing-lag only occurs with using settings. I would like more TV manufacturers to make models in this size for greater choice. I recommend this TV only for the convenient size. You will need to be patient & relatively comfortable with tech to get this initially operating. You will need smartphone to register device. Also, to activate the various app accounts you have currently like DirecTV, Hulu, HBOMax, Netflix, ESPN, Disney, etc. If you already have a set box (like Gemini) you plan on keeping—you can connect it to one of the HDMI ports to avoid the hassle of reinstalling app subscriptions & activating on this set. Also, when setting up the TV. Avoid agreeing to all the various Terms of Use that pop up. Take the time to read carefully what each parameter says. This will help protect your privacy. Some of the parameters will need to be on in order for the TV to function, but not all. Also, this TV comes with ordinary LG remote, not LG AI Magic remote. You might be confused by the manual & the actual TV when it references the AI remote, because it is not included with this set.

I purchased this 27-inch LG LB70 Series TV for our kitchen, and I’ve been very happy with it. The picture is bright, clear, and looks great for a smaller Full HD TV. I was also pleasantly surprised by the sound quality — it sounds much better than the smaller TV it replaced. The webOS interface is easy to use, and the TV has been great for everyday streaming and watching shows while we’re in the kitchen. I also like that it has a native 120Hz refresh rate, which is a nice bonus if I want to do some occasional casual gaming. (yes, gaming in the kitchen ) The 27-inch size works perfectly for the space without feeling too small or taking over the room. Setup was straightforward, and it mounted easily using the existing VESA mount. Overall, this has been an excellent kitchen TV. Great picture, surprisingly good sound, easy smart features, and the perfect size for what we needed. Definitely recommended. Pros: Great picture, good sound, easy-to-use webOS, 120Hz refresh rate, perfect size for smaller spaces. Cons: No VRR or advanced gaming features, but that really isn’t an issue for how I use it.

This is literally one, if not, the only tv to have a stand like a monitor. My parents bedroom is limited with places to put a TV so this fit the bill perfectly. All of my high end monitors and TV's are all LG and this little guy does not disappoint. As some reviewers state there is no guidance on how to put on the stand but it's pretty straight forward. Two screws on the back and two on the bottom the holes line themselves up once you slide the stand in place. One big negative for me is that most LGs tend to load up immediately to any device they are connected too but for some reason it hates loading into the Roku. It always wants you to interact with WebOS which is fine for me but my parents are elderly and the Roku player is easier for them to use. The instructions on the TV are also sort of outdated. It shows the higher end remote they reserve for motion controls with the joystick during setup but the included remote is the basic one with out it. Price is a bit high for a 27 inch but again, it fit the situation we needed and it works great.

It's a TV. I was hoping to be able to use the smart TV functions and not have to rely on a firestick or the like but I'm using a firestick. I don't like that you have to create a sign in for the LG platform and THEN use your apps, the apps you pay for to be able to use entirely separately from LG. I hoped it was as simple as the TV could connect directly to the wifi and I go to apps from there but no. The screen colors seem too dark as well and adjusting the limited parameters available on the TV seems to make no measurable difference. I wouldn't not buy it again in order to be able to simply watch TV though.

I ordered this tv on line. It came in two days. Its a nice tv,picture is sharp and clear. Its a nice size,i am not a lover of these huge tvs. This is just right for my bedroom.

Not much choice on the market for a 27" 1080p TV. This is the largest TV that fits below the cabinets on the kitchen counter. The TV has good picture with a nice small footprint. One problem is a very slow processor that causes changing programs or moving between apps very slow. The keys on the remote is way too cluttered; so many unnecessary keys that never get used and its hard to find the one you want. Considering available choices on the market, I recommend this for someone looking to put a TV on their kitchen counter.

Very pleased with the quality of the picture and actually surprised by how good it sounded (still want a sound bar for more bass, but it sounded good with just the TV speakers). Unusually hard to set up though. Could benefit from an actual owner's manual with directions. All it had was a pictogram on how to attach the base.

This seems to be a great little TV for small spaces. It hasn’t been two weeks yet since I’ve had it, so I only gave four stars. There seems to be a lot of bang for the buck. I will also say that the interface for the smart functions is amazing.

I purchased this television based on past positive experiences with this company, I had to order the television since there were none in stock. Best Buy was amazing as usual in placing the order. The television came when expected but when I prepared to set it up, I discovered that there were no directions for attaching the stand, I contacted the company and they informed me that there were no such directions and I should contract with Best Buy to have them set it up. Fortunately, the Geek Squad came to the rescue and sent me a link for an on-line site for set up. Having said sell of that, once I could get the television in an upright position, set up was easy and quick. The color is excellent and I would purchase the same television again now that I am aware of an on-line assembly site available. I just wouldn’t depend on LG for support.

I purchased this 27inch TV for my bedroom and it is just the right size for casual watching. My only complaint is with the remote control. It has so many buttons! I’m use to the Fire Stick remote but I guess I’ll get used to the LG remote after some time.

I am pretty happy with this as a new kitchen tv. Picture quality and color are quite good at the price point. Setup was easy, sound is ok and remote is fine. Color and picture adjustments are a bit limited, but again at this price it is excellent.

Perfect TV for our kitchen. The space was 1/2" too small for a 32" TV. The LG was an easy set up and the picture quality is excellent. The only complaint is the remote. Way too many buttons. Bought a universal remote instead.

Setting up closed captions was very easy. Good color, decent sound and nice size. The darkness was a challenge. Worked with the "settings" for about a week and eventually got it right.

This TV is perfect for dorm rooms. Needed a tv with pedestal. Connected without any problems. I'm a long time Samsung owner. All Apps loaded w ease. Great Color and dept good. Wifi speed 1Gig.

This TV is one of the few offered in the rare size of 27”. It’s the perfect addition to most travel trailers where space is at a premium.

Small compact and doesnt take too much space, I like that the stand is in the middle so it doesnt take too much space. Also the interface is very easy to use

Great picture & size for kitchen counter and also rv camping!! Manufacturer needs to provide better usage instructions on operation for those of us not tech savvy.
