Refrigerator was delivered 11/12/2022, 4 mos ago. Minor scratches on front (1 star less) and surprised the ice maker in bottom makes huge round ice cubes. You have to hit the water or ice buttons twice to switch, not sure why. More of an annoyance till you get use to it. Love the fridge, the middle drawer keeps meat and cheese at perfect temp. as do the veggie fruit storage. My strawberries are still good 2+ weeks out. It's a little big for 2 retirees (I'm 5'7 and have to use tiptoes to reach to the back of the top shelf)....but the price was right and it had everything my husband wanted. We are very happy with LG and our purchase.

We purchased this fridge five years ago. It has been ok - the panel would go bonkers off and on, but it would typically work itself out. Then it stopped cooling. Six weeks, 6 technician visits, and 3 parts orders (Including a mother board and compressor) later it was finally “fixed.” Then I started getting headaches. Our family doctor didn’t know why I was getting severe headaches every day. Then we started noticing a faint smell coming from the fridge. When it got stronger, we wondered. Then we began to taste it in the food, we called LG - AGAIN. They scheduled another technician visit for two days after that. Then all of us - four children ages 7 months to 15 years, and my husband and I - got extremely sick. Throwing up, nausea, extreme headaches. As it turns out, and was confirmed, our fridge was leaking Freon. We were being poisoned from our fridge. At NO POINT did LG Global or the technician tell us to remove the fridge from the house or mention how dangerous it was. The technician told us to unplug it and “we should be fine.” We took the kids to the doctor because of the length of extreme sickness and finally removed the fridge ourselves. It left a trail of green Freon across the kitchen. Within 12 hours of its removal, we were all drastically better and finally mending. We received the new parts for the fridge to be fixed, then the technician never showed up for the scheduled appointment with no response to text or calls. I emailed LG multiple times just asking for them to make this right. Their solution? “Due to the delay in service you are eligible for a prorated refund…”. No “sorry we poisoned your family,” not even an acknowledgment. They offered a fraction of the original value. So here we are realizing that some big companies really have no care for a human family’s life, just the bottom line. We will be looking elsewhere for appliances in the future. I urge you all to read reviews and make decisions for yourself, but here is our story.

Absolutely love my large round ice cubes. Fridge is extra large with great space. The flexibility of the middle drawer is amazing. The ability to have small ice cubes on the door and the large round ice cubes on the boom drawer is a flex.

Outstanding fridge - the ice maker is the best (both on top and below). Love the water and ice in the door. Note: the items in the door do not stay as cold as those in the fridge. Lower the temperature to make it work better.

So far, the refrigerator is meeting all my expectations. The craft ice is slow, but a really neat feature. I love the drawer in the middle. It took a long time to get here, but I’m very pleased. The delivery guys were great and very professional.

Multiple error codes where fans stopped working after just a year and a half. Reached out to LG and they said error codes aren’t covered by warranty. The warranty is only one year except for cooling which is five years. What else are fans used for? So my fans stopped working, which makes my ice melt and icemaker stopped working, but that’s not a cooling issue. Total garbage total garbage customer service absolutely do not buy. Will never buy LG again. Will probably change out my entire set.
