The water smells of chemicals, I don't recommend buying it.

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand how important it is for your LG Water Filter (LT1000P) model to provide clean and fresh-tasting water.
If the water has an unusual chemical smell, one helpful step is to flush the filter with at least 2.5 gallons of water after installation. This clears out carbon dust and helps the filter perform as intended. Also, make sure the filter is seated properly in the housing to avoid bypassing unfiltered water.
