A beautiful and innovative design in a contemporary wall oven. Easy installation instructions and intuitive operating screen layout. Looking forward to using the air-fryer feature!

We were excited to buy such a beautiful, fully featured oven, and we especially liked the short steam “EasyClean” cycle. The manual clearly says you can use a “wet, non-scratch scouring sponge or pad” on tougher spots. However, the non-scratch pad that works perfectly on our nonstick pans scratched the blue interior badly (see attached picture). Afterward, I learned that the LG oven’s blue porcelain is actually powdered glass fused to metal, which makes it much more prone to scratching than nonstick coatings. I hope LG will respond to this post and offer a way I can lessen the appearance of these unsightly scratches.

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG Wall Oven (WSEP4727F) model. We understand the importance of keeping your oven’s interior looking its best—especially when you’ve been following the care guidance and enjoying features like the EasyClean cycle.
To help with the appearance of the scratches, one step you can try is gently wiping the area with a soft, damp microfiber cloth after running another EasyClean cycle. This can help remove any remaining residue and may reduce how visible the marks appear. While the blue porcelain interior is durable, it can show abrasion more easily than nonstick cookware, so using only non‑abrasive cloths or sponges moving forward will help protect the finish. This oven replaces our workhorse Bosch convection oven, and is welcomed upgrade. We now have steam baking and air fry we didn't have before. We also have WIFI connectivity, too. The oven seems well built and has a nice modern appearance, with fingerprint resistance. The controls are modern, flexible, and easy to learn with a little patience. The oven itself is a bit larger than the old Bosch, but the Bosch seems to have been a bit more powerful and quick, though not as well rounded technically. All in, I like the performance well enough, the look is professional and upscale, and it does everything it does well. I'm still learning some new things, but I think it will be my friend soon enough. I surely wants to be. I am a retired professional chef, and I could be spoiled with all this slick function. This LG product is a good alternative to spending many multiples of dollars to do basically the same thing. I do recommend this product. If it lasts as long as the Bosch, I'll be tickled. I'm hoping it outlasts me.

The fan comes on briefly several times during a regular bake . The manual says that is so that the temperature is even throughout the oven. The problem with doing that is that casseroles, cakes, sweet breads like banana bread are all getting way to dark on top before they are done. To cook them without a covering them, they are almost burned on top before they are cooked all the way through. To compensate for that I have to cover everything thing with foil for about 3/4 of the cooking time and then take the foil off the last 1/4 of the suggested cooking time. I haven't figured out what to do when I bake cookies since it doesn't really work well to cover up the cookie sheet. Most of my cookies have been big failures because of this excessive browning.. I've checked the oven temperature with two thermometers in the oven and the temperature is accurate. This oven replaced a 30 year old oven that baked perfectly. I'm very disappointed with this oven.

Hi, Don. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Convection Wall Oven (WSEP4727F) model. We understand your concern about dealing with uneven baking and excessive browning. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products exceeding our customer's needs. For help, try baking with the oven rack in the lower third of the oven. This can help reduce top browning by placing the food further from the heating element. Even though your oven’s temperature is accurate, sometimes the fan can cause uneven heating. Best oven ever! Does everything. Easy to operate. Works like a dream.

Temperature control is accurate and the controls are intuitive. One thing that isn't convenient about this LG when enjoying the steam function is that you're supposed to completely empty the reservoir after using the oven. So you fill it up with distilled water and then about 3% of what you filled it with gets used and then you wait for it to completely cool and then you dump out most of what you laboriously added. Our old KitchenAid range was plumbed into the water supply and was definitely more convenient. This will be fine for special occasions, though. I'm actually not sure why it has to be emptied if it does get filled with distilled water. Probably they are worried about it growing bacteria or mold.

Bought this oven as part of an overall kitchen remodeling. Good value for the quality. I like all the bells and whistles - but I've yet to try all that the oven has going for it.

Love this oven, works great. Only problem is the fan is loud when cooling

It worked great for about 1-1/2 years with minimal use. Then it just completely stopped working. A lot of nice features that I never had the chance to use. LGs customer service wanted to charge me $400 to attempt to fix it since it only had a one year warranty. My previous Kenmore gave me 10 good years before I decided to upgrade to this piece of junk. Waste of money!

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG Wall Oven (WSEP4727F) model. We understand the importance of having an oven that remains reliable long after installation, especially when you haven’t had the chance to fully enjoy its features.
When a wall oven suddenly stops working, one helpful step is to perform a full power reset by switching the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds and then turning it back on. This can help the control panel and internal components reboot properly. It may also help to check that the cooling fan vents are clear, as restricted airflow can cause the unit to shut down unexpectedly. The ability of this to communicate with the entire system is very cool. Can pre-heat the oven on the way home and be ready to cook immediately.
