We wanted something for our 300 square foot bedroom and this was perfect. It was relatively easy to set up. We have a big window so I had to put some extra padding there. The AC cools really fast and blows some really fast air too. Highly recommend the product over the local brands.

Best Portable AC unit for 300-350sqft and with LG ThinQ I can control both upstairs and downstairs with my app! Handled 100+ Texas heat like a champ with the room at 72 in less than 2 minutes!

Powerful AC

I purchased this AC for the loft area of our house which usually gets all the heat of the house. We used to have a 5-6 degree of temperature difference between the lower level and the upstairs. But this AC now throws away all the excessive heat in the loft area and it's not hard to spend time in the loft during the hot days anymore. Installation was literally just plug and play.

leaks, arrived missing parts, no customer service

The air conditioner arrived missing the upper drain plug, and leaked water all over the floor. Best Buy said the only resolution was to return it to a store and have them ship a replacement. I contacted LG to receive the missing part, and they sent the wrong part. I contacted LG to get the right part and they dropped the case. It's been a month and there's been no resolution despite repeated calls to Best Buy and LG.

Excellent cooling in the master bedroom

We are in the middle of a heat wave and this is keeping our large master bedroom comfortable. It is a little bit noisy at first, but we quickly became used to that. It’s a high-quality unit and we recommended.

I have had bad experiences with other portable air conditioners in the past only lasting a year or so. I have only been using this one for a few months and it is doing an excellent job cooling our bedroom. It has good power and is fairly quiet. Will see how it holds up over time. That is why I am giving out 4 stars for now.

I’ve been very happy with this portable AC. I use it every day in my bedroom, especially during hot Florida afternoons, and it cools the room quickly while maintaining a comfortable temperature. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to use, and the smart controls are a nice bonus. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is compared to other portable air conditioners. The only downside is that, like most portable AC units, it can take up some floor space, but the performance makes up for it. Overall, it has worked exactly as expected and has made a big difference in keeping my room comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

Did not work, so I returned it. LG is usually a very good brand, but I guess I wasn't lucky with this one. Could have been a shipping issue. Next time I suggest pickup Item was returned

A loss of cooling due to a sealed system or refrigerant issue requires professional technical assessment, as sealed system components are sealed and pressurized: (1) Listen for the compressor to activate when switching to Cool mode and setting the target temperature lower than the current room temperature. (2) Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and reset the LCDI plug on the power cord for 5 full minutes to clear any internal control board protection faults. (3) Make sure the flexible exhaust hose is securely connected to the window vent kit without sharp bends, as restricted airflow may lead to the compressor overheating and shutting off.
