Q: can propane gas beused for this top?
A: This cooktop is convertible for use with natural or propane gas. The LP gas conversion should be made by a qualified LP installer. The pressure supplied must be between 10" and 13" of water column. The conversion instructions and LP orifices are supplied with the cooktop. ^Daphane
Q: Does the knobs have a light that indicate it is on when the stove is on?
A: No they do not. Its a gas stove so its easy to see that it is on though.
