Q: Can I put it on a pedestal ?
A: I'm about 5' 3" and I can hardly reach the bottom to pull clothes out without falling in.
A: You will not know if the machine has filled enough with water. It is suppose to have a sensor, an advanced technology, to ensure proper water usage. I have not been happy with my machine and will not recommend it. I have had to always select the extra water feature during my wash to ensure a clean load. It uses the minimum amount of water and my laundry has had to go through the cycle a second time, in some cases. Do not be fooled by the tub size, you can not wash large loads in this machine. We found out the hard way.
A: An owner's manual comes with your new washer. It's also available online. The owner's manual does not include detailed operating instructions. It tells you nothing about the display panel functions, icons, etc. On the front of the owner's manual it says that for operating instructions you need to go to a specific LG website. That web address does not provide specific operating instructions. I found the operating instructions on LG Canada. The Canadian owner's manual includes operating instructions. A: The WT7300CW uses much less water than past washing machines so the water usage my be normal. If you feel like it is not using enough, the WT7300CW features Water Plus which adds additional water to the cycle to increase washing performance. This feature can be used multiple times until the maximum water limit has been reached. ^CP
Q: Does this machine accumulate any mold?
A: It might very well do that if you just close the lid after using the washer and nothing more. I leave my washer lid open during the night and when not in use. I use a vinegar rinse to discourage mold. Vinegar won't be as problematic as chlorine bleach.
Q: How many minutes does it take to wash a normal size load of clothes?
A: Normal cycle is about 50 minutes. I love that it has the sensing feature for load size , then it fills with water according to load
Q: how do you adjust water level
A: You can press the "Water Plus" button before the start of the load. If, you need to add water after the load has started, you have to press pause, press the Water Plus button, then start. FYI, you have to hold the button down for at least three seconds for the option to select. You may want to check it after more water has been added because it still may not be enough. In that case, you will have to repeat those step several times in order to get the desired amount of water. Which means you pretty much have to monitor each load to make sure it has the desired amount of water you need.
