There seems to be a hiccup that I haven't quite figured out and causes the subwoofer to cut out for a second or two. It seems like when the bass is at the the stronger range/ volume, it overexerts itself and cuts out. Would love to know what is causing that and how to resolve it, I've had that it happen before with a subwoofer that was connected via Bluetooth and the Bluetooth setting seemed to contribute. But here, I'm using an optical output and still have that issue. One thing I will say you must understand before you purchase this, is that the volume control is defaulted to a relatively low volume. In order to fix this, you will HAVE to download the app for the system. This will allow you to remove the volume limitation. You might be led to believe that there was an issue with the volume control, but it's because the main controller is in the app. It would also have been nice that this set came with stands for the speakers, that's probably why it's the price it is. In any case, it really completes our living room and makes video games and movies much more. Theatrical.

Purchased this on a whim on sale for $349 around president’s day 2026. It is plug and play for an existing 77” B series OLED. Its primary use is for a kids gaming setup/occasional family movie night. For those purposes and at that sale price it is awesome value! Unpacking/setup was super easy, my only dislike and disappointment upon opening is that while the chosen parent rear speaker requires power the child requires a speaker wire ran to it thereby not making the system wireless. I just have the cable running across the carpet like a bum until a child decides to trip and wreck themselves over it. At some point I will have to address that annoyance because the rear speakers on level 10 make all the difference, especially at head level.

Plug and play with new LG OLED 77 TV. ARC Sound was easy to connect. Wireless subwoofer automatically turned on. A slight half star deduction is that one of the rear speakers needs to be connected to a power source. The pair of rear speakers also need to be connected to each other. Otherwise, great sound quality for the price paid during Black Friday deals.

Wow! Im blown away by the quality of this sound bar. Easy setup. Only con is the volume is three dots that go from green to red as you go up. Would prefer a digital display with numbers.

The setup couldn’t be any easier, just open the box, put the soundbar under my projector screen, woofer on the floor to the right of the soundbar, satélite speakers on my night stands, run the wire from the left satellite speaker to the right, plug all of them, turn the soundbar on. The satélite speaker connects automatically, connect it via Bluetooth to the projector and done. The sound is amazing!!! Tested the system with my favorite movie “Top Gun Maverick” and it was better than great!!! All the sounds I was hearing like the metal cables dragging on the aircraft carrier’s flight deck and the aircraft taking off while the music was playing made it joyful to say the least. Now I’m thinking on buying another one for my office. Concerts, sports and of course movies are more fun watching with this amazing soundbar.

The LG 5.1.1 Channel S70TR soundbar is a great addition to any home theater setup. Very impressive sound. I really like the wireless rear surround speakers they add a lot to the total sound. The bass can be adjusted to really bring out the explosion sounds in a movie. The sound is impressively clear and I highly recommend this surround sound system. The LG App has a very nice remote control for this surround sound system. It's a lot easier to use than the handheld remote they give you. If you don't have the LG app, its fantastic - get it - you wont be sorry.

When paired with LG products, this sound system comes with settings that are customizable enough to enjoy any sort of media. Sub woofer sounds great and has a vibrant feel in certain movies and shows. Sound bar has great sound output and highly detailed. The rear speakers are fine, they are a good addition but there are better ones out there. Got this set on a deal for 330 after tax, if I paid the original asking price I wouldve lowered the rating.

This soundbar is amazing I have other audio systems in my room office connected to my computers and previous tv Since I purchased a new LG tv I was debating if I should buy it sound system for the TV or use what I already have So I decide to try this LG Soundbar in compared to everything I own the surround sound is amazing. Crystal clear sound and the rear speakers sound great too even though you still have to use one wire from one of the rear speakers to the other. It was not a hassle to do. It was worth getting it because of the sound that produce with this TV. I have tried this system or music movies and even on software that I use for my computer sense. It’s also Bluetooth compatible and I was amazed about the sound. If you’re thinking about buying a surround sound, you won’t regret getting this one

I’ve been using the LG S70TR 5.1.1 soundbar for about three months in my bedroom, paired with a 48-inch LG OLED TV. The sound quality is solid and works very well with LG TVs, especially through HDMI eARC. Installation wasn’t completely smooth at first. I had to read the manual from LG’s website because the quick setup guide wasn’t enough. The LED color indicators are confusing, and adjusting all the speaker levels took time and patience. Once everything is set up properly, the system performs well. Considering I bought it during a special promotion, I’m satisfied with the purchase. However, LG should improve the clarity of their setup instructions.

Its been a while since Ive have had a sound bar. Its been a good 10 years. So when I purchased this setup per reviews and price, it was a huge surpruse for someone who has a dedicated full seperates dolby atmos sound system. I purchased this for our new home that has a great room and I didn't want to clutter up our clean minimalist layout with 7 plus speakers, which would have included them being miunted on the ceiling. The atmos setup is in a room off to the side and isnt the main focal point of our home. Now the LG sound bar dosnt come close to a full on seperates atmos but its lound clean and sound good. One thing I would say is negative about the setup is that even though there is an up firing speaker its hard to say its atmos.

This sound system is perfect for my 1 bd apartment. Whether playing games, watching tv, or listening to music, the sound that comes from these speakers paired with the speakers from the tv itself (wow orchestra) fills my apartment with immersive sound that even my neighbors can enjoy!

This is an awesome deal. I was skeptical about the sound quality at this price but this came out to be excellent. Strong bass, surround sound speakers really fill the room and give an immersive movie experience. 100% steal deal. Setup was also super easy, just follow the steps and they connect automatically and they are wireless except for the surround speakers which need to hooked up to each other.

Very good sound system very easy to install I’m happy

Really happy with this soundbar system. The sound is clear and powerful, the subwoofer adds great bass, and the rear speakers make movies, music, and gaming much more immersive. Setup was easy and Dolby Atmos sounds great. Definitely a big upgrade for my TV setup. I would absolutely recommend it.

The soundbar sounds really good. I upgraded from an old Lg home theater system that had a bluray player. It pairs perfectly with my ne Lg qned 75" 82 series tv.

Rarely basic 5.1 setup. The saline is adequate for my room. It DID take some tweaking to get the immersive experience, but pretty manageable if you know what you’re doing. Subwoofer is almost twice the size of my previous setup and the sound difference is VERY noticeable. The hookup to the TV is painless. It says you need an HDMI (ARC) enabled tv to work, but mine is not and it works fine. (You only need it if you’re moving data back and forth from tv to sound system, which I’m not doing yet). Like I said, sound qualit is pretty good.

Truly elevates the sound experience with the WOW Orchestra feature. Truly brings up the quality of sound and dialogue in a movie. Makes the details matter.
