I needed a new washer and put a lot into researching what to buy. LG came up a lot as a solid brand. I wanted something large but also didnt want to spend a ton of money. This washer offered the best features for the price, so i took a chance and ordered it. I've now had it for three months. No regrets at all. It's somewhat quiet, big enough to hold my king size bedding, and washes my clothes beautifully. I saw some reviews complaining about the water level being too low and thinking that something was wrong with it. That's how it's supposed to work! The normal cycle detects the level of clothes you have in the machine and adjusts to that. The water doesn't completely cover the clothes, but through the agitation, everything gets washed. It's designed like this to conserve water. If you don't like that feature, then use the deep water setting. Easy fix. I find the normal setting works well for most of my loads, but if I do have something in the wash that's normal than usual, I use the deep water. I honestly couldn't be happier with this washer.

It's a good and sizable washing machine for the cost. So far, we've owned it for 3 months and we are satisfied with its performance. The settings are very simple and easy to use and the bluetooth fuction has been very helpful. The app notifies me when the load is done and also lets me know how much energy each load used and when its time to for the machine to be cleaned. The only advice I would give is to use the deep water option if you prefer your clothes to be fully submerged in water. I also like to use the normal+pre wash cycle for a better clean.

1st LG Washer and so far it’s been pretty good. The machine is large and quiet. There’s a little learning curve for those that are not used to all of the computerized systems and functions. I still prefer the “old school” machines for their easy use and durability. It’s fairly easy to use once you know which functions to use for each type of wash. The HE washers now tend to use the minimal amount of water so use the Deep Fill when you are able to. Some settings don’t allow the deep fill. Watch a You Tube video that shows the different functions.

This washer and dryer combo works amazing ! I had an old set and I upgraded to these and it’s the best decision I have ever made ! My clothes actually get clean and the washer and dryer are super quiet ! I would highly recommend these !

I just got this washer and even though it has the same capacity as my old washer, it seems to fit a lot more clothes and the agitator is definitely a plus, because I can see the difference in the cleanliness of my clothes!

I enjoy this washing machine for the agitator option, and the fact it has a matching dryer, however there’s definitely some quirks. This is my fourth one in 6 years, so i highly recommend the extended warranty option. My first 2 washers experienced a variety of problems after the first year (usually around 2.5 years old). BestBuy did exchange them for new product because i had extended coverage, as cost to repair was higher than purchase. I keep getting the same set for the simple fact that i have the matching dryer. My third washer lasted 18 months before the sensor and motor went. And my fourth, purchased 12/23 to replace the prior, was exchanged after 2 weeks. As others have mentioned, the water level on several settings is concerning because its so low. The clothes / items barely get wet, as theres less than an inch of water even on heavy load option. Anything past a few shirts isnt getting cleaned. The only option is to use the “deep wash” option (different than deep fill) in order to actually get your clothes wet. On the other settings, your clothes are likely to get damaged because of the low water setting as well as the agitator causing so much fruction (its also very loud because you hear each rotation since the water isnt there to add resistance). I attached pictures for those who want to see how low the water setting is. I had a tech out, and he agreed thr water on the standard settings are too low, but cant be changed as per LG, so deep wash is the only option which defeats the purpose in my opinion.

I love this washing machine. Looks nice and good quality, performance is great. I know some people don’t like the normal wash coz it didn’t have much water like old style washing machine. But I like it and you can download more washing styles like small loads, half load, full load and some others. Which I did and used the small load style. The fact that I can also see last used and how many uses is a plus. There’s a lot more Longevity that’s I cannot say coz I just got it lately. So all and all, it’s a great washing machine and I can recommend it.

Very nice quiet washing machine. The color is great graphite steel. I wish it had a buzzer for when the laundry is done. I don’t think it does but other than that I’m happy with it very huge capacity and fits right where the old one did Better

Absolutely love this washing machine. it’s huge and deep and it’s actually cleans the clothes just don’t overfill it. Only laundromat machines can clean when full. Had a front lading prior to this and I don’t miss it all. I wash and sanitize my nursing scrubs and deep clean my daughters soccer uniforms. Well worth the money. I used febreze can for visual reference. I’ve got 8 towels in here and it’s no way near 1/2 way full.

I like this LG, it has every feature you can possible need. Went back to agitator. I had a Samsung washer with no agitator. Never cleaned clothes well. I purchased LG dryer that matched as well. Also a great machine.

Great washer/ dryer set! We replaced our Samsung set and were hesitant to change brands but this set was on sale so we decided to try them. We are so glad we did, they have outperformed Samsung from the start. So many reviews complained about the low water level in the tub of the washer but we have not experienced that. No matter what size load we wash there is plenty of water to get all the clothes wet, especially on the personal cycle. The dryer runs great, there is no need to run extra cycles as it gets everything dry no matter what size load. We would highly recommend this set!!

We bought this set to replace a front loader that died on us after only 4 years. We love how much this holds and is more compact than the front loaders.

Easy to use. Glad I got the larger 5.3. Having the extra space is nice. Top rated on Consumer Reports. I can see why.

Very pleased so far. Capacity is fantastic. My only complaint is that I wish there was more control over water level, and that I could create a custom cycle to download instead of using LGs.

Best washer I’ve owned, last year I had a also brand new GE without an agitator that was the worst washer I’ve owned so I feel I had an apples to apples comparison. Clothes are clean, never goes off balance with big loads, lots of options. Wouldn’t have normally taken a chance on LG but was in a time crunch and so far I’m glad I did.
