The tv is the best purchase we’ve made in a while! The set up was super easy and smooth, the visibility and features are simple and easy to use. We love the settings and how you can set up brightness for example how you like. The ball mouse on the controller can be annoying at times. But other than that it’s a great purchase for a great price.

I recently bought the LG 55" Class 70A Series QNED AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025) and have been using it daily. The picture looks very vibrant and sharp, especially when watching movies and sports. The system feels smooth and easy to use, and switching between apps is quick. So far, it’s been a very solid and enjoyable experience overall.

55” LG QNED A1 TV by LG Electronics Positives • Excellent Color Quality The picture is the standout feature. Colors are rich, vibrant, and well-saturated without looking unnatural. Overall image clarity is impressive for a TV in this price range. • Sound Is Better Than Expected The built-in speakers are above average for a flat-panel TV. It’s not home-theater level, but it’s comfortably better than the thin, tinny sound many TVs produce. One thing to note: you will want to mount this on a pedestal-type mount rather than a wall mount. A wall mount can decrease sound quality because there is no surface for the sound waves to reflect off, since the speakers are located on the bottom of the TV and point downward. Negatives • webOS Interface Is Extremely Poor The operating system is cluttered and frustrating to navigate. Menus feel disorganized, and simple tasks take too many steps. Instead of enhancing the TV experience, the software constantly gets in the way. LG has renamed standard features and components, like HDMI inputs, to things such as “Home Hub.” These changes were unnecessary and make items very hard to find. • Overall System Performance Feels Awkward The entire user experience feels poorly designed. Settings are buried, navigation is unintuitive, and everyday use becomes irritating fast. Changing HDMI inputs is incredibly slow, and there are extra built-in features from LG that you cannot remove, even if you will never use them. There is also a huge amount of bloatware on the main screen, making it feel cluttered and messy. • Cheap, Low-Quality Remote The included remote feels like one of the cheapest on the market. The button layout is awkward, the build quality feels flimsy, and it’s difficult to operate by touch. It acts as a pointer, where you have to move an on-screen cursor around to select items, which is nearly impossible without a lot of practice. If you turn this feature off, you are then forced to hear the system read every dialog box that appears. This is incredibly infuriating. It does not match the quality you’d expect from a major brand. • Very Poor VESA Mount Placement The VESA mounting holes are positioned very low on the back of the TV. This awkward placement makes mounting more difficult and can cause compatibility issues with some universal mounting setups and accessories. • Terrible Power Port Location The power input is placed in one of the worst possible spots on the rear of the TV. Once mounted, it can be partially covered by the mounting hardware, making it very difficult to access or manage the power cable. Conclusion Great color and decent sound are overshadowed by a frustrating operating system, poor remote design, and questionable hardware layout choices. Day-to-day usability suffers if you rely on the built-in interface and webOS. However, if you use your own streaming device or cable box as your primary interface, once everything is set up (which takes far too much time), the picture and sound quality may make this a satisfactory purchase.

Hi, Michael. Thank you for sharing such a detailed review of your LG TV (55QNED70AUA) model. We understand the importance of having a TV that not only delivers great picture and sound but also feels intuitive and enjoyable to use every day. It’s great to hear that the color quality and sound performance are meeting your expectations. To declutter a slow interface, reset the Home Dashboard layout, remove unused apps, disable some recommendations, and reorder inputs for faster access. If the pointer feature is challenging, you can disable it and use standard navigation without audio guidance, making the remote feel more traditional and easier to use. Using a full-motion mount can enhance access to ports and improve cable management for VESA placement and power port location, particularly on models with lower mounting points. I am very happy with the purchase of this tv. The picture quality is excellent and the sound is very good. I purchased this to replace an older smart tv because I wanted something a bit larger. This tv is smarter than I am! I have never had a "true" smart tv, and it is a lot different than using a roku or cable menu. The only negative for me is the magic remote. Hard to point and click.

This tv really surprised me. For it's price range, it really knocks it out of the park. This tv replaces a standard LG 4K, and the overall picture quality is a great improvement. The remote and the menu are not simple, but it's worth the hassle. The sound isn't the best either, but just hook it up to a home theater system, set it to optical out or eArc, and you're good to go. If you need an upgrade for standard 4K, try this one!

The quality, color, and even the sound of the TV screen are so, so high, and I like it. There is no color bleeding or afterimage when changing the screen. And the sound from the speakers doesn't break or howl even when the volume is turned up high. It's the best.

I used the LG 55QNED70A as my main living‑room TV for two weeks, watching movies, and TV shows. Setup was painless: the TV boots quickly, webOS is responsive, and app access (Netflix, Prime, Disney+, YouTube) is immediate. The set feels well‑built for the price and includes LG’s picture presets that make it easy to get a pleasing image without calibration.

This is a great TV. The picture is clear, but the remote is a little difficult to use at times. I still need to tweak the settings a little to get the right picture for what I’m watching.

Here’s a polished, positive review in English for an LG QNED TV: ⸻ Review of the LG QNED TV I’ve been genuinely impressed with the LG QNED TV. The picture quality is outstanding—bright, detailed, and exceptionally vibrant thanks to the quantum dot and NanoCell combination. Colors feel natural yet striking, and the contrast is noticeably improved compared to standard LED panels. Dark scenes look cleaner, and the overall clarity is great for movies, sports, and gaming. The webOS interface is smooth and intuitive, making it easy to navigate between apps, settings, and inputs. The remote is responsive, and the TV itself feels well-built and premium. Sound quality is solid for a flat-panel TV, with clear dialogue and decent depth, although pairing it with a soundbar elevates the experience even more. Overall, the LG QNED series delivers excellent value for the price. If you’re looking for a bright, colorful, and modern TV with strong features and great performance, this one is absolutely worth considering.

I bought this TV as a Christmas gift for my moms and they absolutely love it. The picture is clear and bright and easy to read. The TV is the perfect size for them now.

The TV is great for newer shows and movies. Most channels come in fuzzy or pixulated. Has fewer HDMI connections. Bought it because is on sale after Christmas. The stands are to sides and flimsy vs in the center heavier V or X base.
