I upgraded from a 48-inch LG CX to the 55-inch LG G6 and have had it for about four weeks. So far, I’ve had no issues. The biggest improvement by far is dark-scene visibility. With my CX, dark scenes were often frustrating. In my bright living room during the day, some darker content was almost unwatchable. Even at night, I still had trouble seeing detail in very dark scenes because shadow detail often looked crushed. The G6 is a substantial improvement in this area. Dark scenes are much easier to see, with far more visible detail and better separation in the shadows. In a bright room, the added brightness and screen coating on the 55-inch model make a major difference. In a dark room at night, very dark scenes also look much clearer and more balanced than they did on my CX. Overall picture quality is excellent. Contrast is strong, the image has a lot of depth, and I’m seeing details in movies and shows that I was missing before. For anyone coming from an older OLED like the CX and struggling with dark scenes or daytime viewing, the G6 is a very worthwhile upgrade.

I was a Samsung household for years and switched to LG in 2019 which I love. For the bedroom I just upgraded from 2020 LG 50” LED to this 2026 LG 55” G6 OLED and wowza, such a treat. I don’t use the interface, I go through Apple TV and the audio through Bose system via optical cable. It’s bright and clear. Now I wanna upgrade the living room from 2019 LG 65” B8 OLED to the 77” or “83 G6 or C6H OLED

For some reason, this unit is stuck in a perpetual cycle of trying to refresh its own pixels. Regardless of how many times I acknowledge it it turns on every time I restart the TV. I have it connected to a Sony sound bar, and I suspect that this is the root of the problem. LG Support had no clue what was going on, they didn’t even know what warnings or verbiage was on the TV. The TV has never restarted itself, even when walking away overnight for a pixel cleaning. In addition, this remote is poorly designed. Considering this was supposed to be an upgrade from the C3 panel. It is on almost every account, a downgrade from our experience so far. This was $2k+ mistake.

I got the LG G6 to replace my LG C1. I will say it is an immediate noticeable difference due to the increased brightness. The fancy anti-reflection coating that LG added does work but I will say the biggest advantage is that the G6’s brightness + anti-reflection coating is what helps it overcome well-lit environments, resulting in a punchy picture. Obviously in a dark room your mouth will drop because it’s OLED but just know you do indeed have that similar feeling with the lights on. Gaming wise: You get 4 full bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports, and PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X look amazingly good here. They looked amazing on the C1 too but a little more ridiculously amazing looking on the G6. The G6 supports all the consoles’ features (VRR, etc.). I cannot speak to PC gaming on the G6. The updated remote is smaller than previous remotes but the thing I dislike about it is the removal of the numeric keys, which was (1) easy to use for programmable shortcuts for streaming apps via the Quick Access feature and (2) with the Spectrum TV app you could tune to the channels directly using the numeric keys. Now that is not an option. You can use an older remote to do this, but you cannot use the new included remote to use the Quick Access feature (does this make any sense LG??). All USB ports are USB 2.0 as LG could not be bothered to include one single USB 3.0 port. The ethernet port is 100Mbps which is not good enough for a flagship TV. I guess LG decided to save $0.25 by using a 100Mbps ethernet chipset on their flagship TV. I purchased the stand separately (LG G5 stand is the same stand for the LG G6 by the way) so I cannot speak to the included wall mount. Also, to use some of the streaming apps you need an LG account and, thus, are forced to share your data. LG is very aggressive with pushing the LG account and asking you to agree to share 100% of your data vs just sharing some of your data. Overall, I give the LG G6 4.75 stars which rounds to 5 stars.

This is a great TV with a beautiful picture. Lots of settings. Great for gaming. The remote control is frustrating. For us, we were looking for a TV with settings that allows us to limit flickering that triggers dogs seizures and this TV allows for that. It is not as flicker free as the C5 that we also bought for another room but it is close.

I have been very happy with every aspect of this television. The mount and slim frame get if a gallery-like feel and design. The picture and sounds quality are also great. Highly recommend.

So I recently upgraded to this TV because I wanted a top of line option that paired great with my PC as I use this TV as a monitor for it. It supports up to 165hz refresh rate so its a standout choice for PC gamers, not to mention the otherworldly brightness that this TV has, even for being an OLED. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Absolutely love this TV! The picture quality is next level. The colors are super vibrant, the blacks are insanely deep, and everything just looks so crisp. Watching movies feels like you're at the theater, and games look even better than I expected. Setup was quick, the menus are easy to use, and I've had zero issues so far. Every time I turn it on, I'm still impressed by how good everything looks. If you're thinking about getting this TV, I'd definitely recommend it. It's worth it for the picture quality alone!

Outstanding overall product quality with an edge to edge sharp clear picture. Smart features are seamlessly incorporated. After viewing different programs and input devices we were pleasantly surprised to have found a product that makes life easier and more enjoyable. The TV is located in the family room where it gets used a lot.

The 55-inch LG G6 OLED evo 55-inch is easily one of the best TVs I’ve used. The OLED picture quality is stunning with perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and incredible HDR brightness that makes movies and games look unreal. Gaming feels ultra smooth thanks to the fast response time and HDMI 2.1 features, while the slim premium design makes the TV look gorgeous even when it’s off. Overall, it delivers a true high-end home theater experience.

I have had Oled TV's in the past. This replaced an LG G1 Oled which suddenly had a vertical dark line from top to bottom, just to the left of the middle. The picture quality made this a significant upgrade from the LG G1.

This TV is amazing in every way. It makes my room feel like the lights are on even at night and the anti reflective treatment is very impressive.

I really like the new anti reflective panel. I don't see myself everytime I watch a movie or a show with dark scenes. I also like how bright it gets and like how the colors look on it, especially the blacks. The only thing i did not like is how you can't disable the pointer on the magic remote but I dont really use it since I have an apple tv connected to it.

Picture and quality is outstanding. Watching it our living room is like being in the picture. The colors are like liquid.

We have been using the tv for the last 2 weeks and are very satisfied with the performance, colors are very sharp. I I have it set up with sound bar and the setup is very entertaining. Picture quality is awesome

Incredible picture during the daytime in a very bright room with lots of windows. Cannot recommend this LG product enough!
