I recently purchased the LG C4 65” OLED TV from Best Buy, and as someone who spends most of my free time watching movies and TV shows, I can confidently say this TV is a total game-changer. Incredible Picture Quality for Movies & TV The OLED display is simply stunning. The perfect blacks, rich colors, and sharp details make every scene come alive. Watching movies in Dolby Vision on this TV feels like having a personal cinema at home. From dark thrillers to colorful animations, the picture is consistently jaw-dropping. I’ve re-watched some of my favorite shows just to experience them all over again on this screen. Smooth Performance and Seamless Streaming TV shows and live sports look buttery smooth thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate and excellent motion handling. The webOS smart platform is super easy to use, fast, and responsive. Streaming from Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+ is a breeze, and the Magic Remote’s point-and-click feature makes navigation quick and fun. Sleek Design The TV has a gorgeous, modern look with ultra-thin bezels that make it a centerpiece in my living room. Whether wall-mounted or on the stand, it fits beautifully. Sound Quality The sound is decent for everyday watching, but to really enjoy the cinematic experience, I paired it with a soundbar, which I highly recommend. When shopping for a new 65" OLED TV, I was stuck between the LG C4 and the Samsung S90D. I originally went with the S90D since it got marginally better reviews and seemed to be recommended more by "experts". After about a week, I returned the S90D and got the C4 and have loved it. As much as I adored Samsungs display since it produced more vibrant colors and had a brighter display, there is much more to love about the C4. 1. The C4 has significantly better build quality. This is the main reason for switching from the S90D. I went through two S90D's and both had bent panels and one of them had a defective display. After googling the model, there are plenty of complaints about Samsungs QC with bent panels, faulty power supplies, misaligned ports, etc. The LG C4 on the other hand is built well, with a more premium design that feels sturdy. 2. The C4 has Dolby Vision. While most people probably wouldn't notice the difference between Dolby Vision and HDR10+ (which is what Samsung supports), the implementation of Dolby Vision on the C4 just works perfectly and is more widely adopted. On the Samsung, when viewing HDR10+, it isn't always implemented correctly. On Netflix for example, the image would come out extremely dim. I would either need to disable HDR in the Netflix app to brighten the image or turn Contrast Enhancer to High which would make the image look inaccurate. I have had no issues across all apps and services with Dolby Vision on the C4. 3. The wall mounting screws are placed more towards the middle of the C4. On the S90D they are almost at the bottom. Since I was putting these on a Mount from my previous TV, the S90D's low mounting points made the TV sit higher than I would like, even using the lowest adjustment. Since the C4 has the mounting points in the middle, it was easy putting it at the exact height I had before. 4. The C4 has a better and cleaner OS since you can remove most of the Ads in the settings. It also has better motion processing and upscaling as well. 5. It is easier to clean. The Samsung uses a QD-OLED panel as opposed to the W-OLED panel that LG uses. The QD-OLED has an amazing anti-reflective coating on it, however it is an absolute pain to clean. You can google complaints about cleaning QD-OLED panels and you'll see that it is very prone to scratches and permanent blue cloudy stains. Even though the C4's anti-reflective coating isn't as good as the S90D, I love that I don't have to worry to much about keeping it clean without damaging it. 6. The LG allows you to use your soundbar/sound system with the TV speakers simultaneously for a more full and rich sound experience. Samsung offers this as well, but I wasn't able to get it to pair with my soundbar since apparently, they require you to buy one of their newer soundbars for it to work. Overall, I am extremely happy with the C4 and truly believe it is the best OLED in its class and price point. It can be found right now for a really good, discounted price since the new C5 is released, but since the difference is marginal, I would consider this while they are still on sale.

I’ve had the LG C4 65" OLED for a few weeks now, and it’s hands-down one of the best tech purchases I’ve made. The picture quality is absolutely breathtaking! Deep, true blacks and vibrant colors that make every movie and game pop. Thanks to the new OLED evo panel and Alpha 9 Gen 7 processor, everything looks sharper and more lifelike than I expected. As a gamer, I really appreciate the 144Hz refresh rate and support for G-Sync and FreeSync. Gameplay is buttery smooth, and the input lag is virtually nonexistent. It’s made a noticeable difference in how responsive everything feels. The design is sleek and minimal, and the webOS 24 interface is super easy to use. Streaming apps load quickly, and the remote is intuitive. For the price, this TV delivers flagship performance without the flagship price. I couldn’t be happier with it. Highly recommend to anyone who loves movies, gaming, or just wants an incredible display.

Unreal clarity. This is my first LG OLED and there will be no going back for me. A beautiful picture, slim and sturdy design, and some really nice features. You will want to get on YouTube and learn how to optimize your picture settings, and once you fine tune it, it will blow your mind. The sound is very solid from the tv speakers but with this kind of television you’ll probably want a sound system to really ratchet up your home theater experience. I use mine for watching 4ks and playing Xbox series X and the definition is crisp and the detail extraordinary. I cannot recommend this television enough, and for peace of mind spring for the Best Buy warranty if you can, it’s total peace of mind for your investment and goes up to 5 years. I know I’m gushing but I’ve had mine for a few months now and I’m just completely blown away by the quality.

There are so many OLED and QLED TVs, it is overwhelming. Technology, price point, size, and room conditions all play a role in deciding. This WOLED TV (I won’t and can’t go into tech details but it’s worth doing it on your own) is terrific. True blacks, excellent contrast, bright colors, perfect size. If you are the kind who likes to fiddle with display controls, there are so many. But if not, there are a number of presets. Sound is much better than expected, so we probably won’t get a soundbar. Our room has lots of windows, but we haven’t had an issue with glare or reflections. If we had an issue it would be that at night the screen is very bright, especially with closed captions on. There are adjustments that can be made, and also some presets that take care of it. Highly recommend this LG model at a perfect price point for us.

This is an excellent TV and I have no buyer's remorse. It's my first OLED TV and I spent days comparing the options and reading reviews. It came down between this LG C4 and the Samsung S90D OLED. While the S90D has a newer QD-OLED display, it lacks the capability for Dolby Vision and DTS audio. While the LG C4 does not have HDR10+ but does support Dolby Vision and Dolby audio formats. Both TVs can do HDR10 which is the standard fallback video format if either Dolby Vision or HDR10+ is not supported. What it came down do was the selection of media on streaming. Most streamers use Dolby Vision while Amazon Prime relies on HDR10+. Both formats use HDR with dynamic metadata meaning contrast and brightness change fluidly for the content being played. Dolby Vision does this on a frame-by-frame basis while HDR10+ does this on a scene-by-scene basis. Ultimately, I'm happy I chose the TV which fully supports Dolby video & audio. If you use external speakers, this is the TV you want because it supports more passthrough audio formats so your higher end sound equipment will do the sound processing instead. Samsung S90D has a few formats that it can't passthrough meaning the TV has to process the audio first before sending it to any soundbar. My previous TV was a Samsung LED and I was not fully happy with the OS while this LG C4 TV uses a linux-based WebOS and is very responsive and has a ton of options. I cannot review the smart features of the TV because I use Apple TV 4K for my streaming. Apple TV 4K also support Dolby Vision which is another reason I chose this TV. I wanted to unlock the full features of my Apple TV 4K. The picture quality is amazing. I finally have a TV I can watch in a bright room without having to close the shades. I'm a heavy TV user and will be enjoying this TV for years to come. I use the "screen off" option for when I'm playing news in the background to preserve the screen. This TV has a powerful Wi-Fi antenna so if you place it near your router, use an ethernet cable instead as it will jam your Wi-Fi and slow down speeds for other devices due to its proximity to a Wi-Fi router. It's solidly built and feels sturdy. It's well worth the investment and you won't be disappointed if you have been fretting between this and the comparably priced Samsung S90D my choice is the LG.

After using this TV for a year, I can confidently say it is the best display I have ever owned, even if I haven't been able to put it to as much use as I would like. It is such an impressive piece of tech that I doubt I will ever part with it. While no product is perfect, the pros far outweigh the cons. Here is my breakdown of the experience. The Good: The picture quality is stunning, offering incredible contrast and perfect black levels. Whether I am gaming or settling in for a movie, the display truly shines. It even looks fantastic simply running Apple TV wallpapers in the background. Efficiency is another major win. My TV setup is in a small room, yet I opted for a large panel. Remarkably, this unit emits only about a quarter of the heat my previous television produced. According to my smart outlet, I make a point to monitor the watts used of everything in my room, it draws half the 60-65 percent of my old TV, despite being 10 inches larger! The audio is surprisingly capable, too. While I wouldn't call it audiophile-grade, it is good enough that I retired my entry-level Sonos soundbar. I cannot imagine upgrading to a new soundbar unless it is a significant step up in quality or features a some of that WowCast integration. The Trade-offs There are two minor downsides to keep in mind: 1. Handling and Mounting: Because the panel is incredibly thin and features a rear texture is that is “quite unique”. It can make attaching mounts or adjusting the position a bit tricky. You have to be very cautious when handling it. 2. Brightness Limitations: If you plan to use this in a bright, sun-drenched living room, it will lack the peak brightness required for daytime viewing. However, this is a non-issue at night. In a bedroom setting, it performs flawlessly. Even at lower brightness settings, the image quality is superb, especially in Cinematic Mode, which is the only setting I recommend for most content. All things considered, this TV earns a solid nine out of ten.

I picked this up from my local Best Buy for a great price since it was a floor model. Barely any hours on the TV and the condition was excellent! They even through in all of the accessories that came in the original box and employees made sure I was satisfied with it before leaving. This is by far the best TV I have ever owned. The colors are gorgeous and gaming has been awesome! The 144hz variable refresh rate works flawlessly with an Nvidia GPU (RTX 4070 Super) and works on all 4 HDMI ports! This was purchased to replace a TCL that had issues with Nvidia. I would highly recommend checking for discounted floor models at Best Buy before ever buying a large purchase brand new. Customer service was also amazing which made it worth getting this deal in store rather than on some unknown website. Best Buy third party delivery and installation was terrible, they canceled our delivery on the same day after calling the night before to confirm the time. We wait 4 hours and nothing from Best Buy and nothing from the delivery place. Somehow they use a company but no one has a phone number for them? Anyway we end up going to the store to have them reschedule it and the best they can do is next week after we spent $2000 here? Ended up calling a friend to help transport the TV and installed everything myself. The TV is phenomenal. Beautiful colors. Bright colors and very dark blacks. The tv is one of the best purchases I’ve made in awhile. I would 10/10 recommend this tv to anyone if you can afford it. It is worth the price. I also use it for gaming not just movies and it has high dynamic range, filmaker mode, voice commands, every streaming app under the sun. I mean the tv is stellar. Like i said really wish Best Buy kept their contractors accountable otherwise they are better off doing it themselves instead of hiring another company to lose your customers. Colors are amazing. Best view experience for someone who upgrade from UHD to OLED. Best for darker rooms but also blend in living room. It is worth the investment as you will never be in a TV market for atleast a decade. Add a LG or any dolby atmos sound bar for best audio experience.

So, if you’re like me and just need the basics, this review is for you! We ended up buying this TV after our 3-year-old decided to test his pitching skills by launching a Hot Wheels car straight at our old TV. Needless to say, the screen didn’t survive, and it was completely unwatchable. So, off to Best Buy we went! Let me just say, this TV is amazing. The picture quality is crystal clear, and the built-in sound system is a game changer. Watching TV at night feels so much easier on the eyes—I actually feel less tired and more relaxed afterward. And during the day? There’s way less glare, which is perfect since our TV is right next to a big window. The biggest selling point for me, though, was the screen itself. It has more of a glass-like texture, which seems sturdier. So, if my little guy ever decides to test his aim again, I feel like this TV might stand a better chance. Fingers crossed! How does that feel?

Ok , so the last tv i purchased was the Samsung 65 Q60 C. So with being said lets start with the sound , OUT STANDING job on that sound !! The sound quality on the samsung was trash.. its about time someone stands up and says Hey... give the people what they want. Now on to picture.. the refresh rate on this thing is astronomical for streaming movies and game play. But the picture... well the picture is just as good as the samsung. You would thought LG went all out with the sound and refresh rait with that beautiful mother board they put in it that they wouldve went all out with the picture quality i would've gave it a 5. I give it 4.9 out of 5. A nice amount of USB inputs and other things. Great buy

Well, I wanted to get the 77”, but once I completed the fireplace I didn’t want the TV to take over. I have to say though that I am still very pleased with the quality of the picture on this TV. I will be getting another for the upstairs loft once I complete that wall project.

I bought this 65" LG TV to replace the 50" LG plasma screen I bought in 2010. I paid $1,000 for the plasma screen, and it was NEVER switched off for fifteen years. I live in a very rural area, so we just recently had DSL lines installed, so I wanted a smart TV with wifi capability. I looked at and researched 27 different 65" sets, and I could have bought a much, MUCH cheaper TV, but I learned a long time ago that you get what you pay for. I looked at Visio, LG, Samsung and other brands, some more expensive, and some less. I read the reviews and compared features, narrowed my list down to four possibilities (two LG and two Samsung), and then I went to Best Buy to see them live. This LG had the best picture quality, hands down, and I bought it then and there. I've had it for over a month now, and I'm very happy with my purchase.
