I have only used the dryer three times since I have had it, so far my clothes have dried successfully. The function of the dryer is simple. It has a power on button, a dial for your settings, and a start button. That’s it. There is a lint trap when you open the door, right in front, just pull it out, wipe it clean, and put it back in each and everytime if you want to keep your dryer in proper working condition for a long time. One fault in design I do not agree with is on the dryer door, on the top of it, there is a big long deep gap, I believe that is meant to be the door handle. The problem with it is that it is a big dirt and dust collector, so you must be sure to keep and eye on it that you wipe it clean, a damp cloth would probably be the best method, but just don’t forget about it. The other thing about this dryer I regret, which may not matter to other people, but it does to me, and that is that my previous dryer was safely sitting on top of a pedestal and when the Best Buy delivery dryers delivered this dryer they refused to put it on top of the pedestal stating that it was against Best Buy policy due to it requiring screws and whatever to secure them to each other. If I had known about that, I would had purchased a stackable dryer instead of this one. I was tempted to send it back and swith it for the stackable one, I think they had one for the same price, I just hadn’t thought of that when I was looking to purchase the dryer originally, I never knew it would be an issue because the old dryer wasn’t a stackable one and it worked just fine with the pedestal I had it on. Also, be aware, once I started resrearching about the stackable dryers, you cannot just place them onto any previous pedestal, you must have the one made specifically for the particular dryer you are purchasing, and they are very expensive to have to buy a new one, especially when you aleady have one. Anyway, I didn’t want to send the dryer back and switch it for a stackable dryer because I feared that Best Buy would charge me another delivery and set up fee again and it just wasnt worth the expense to me. Now, why I want my dryer on the pedestal: 1.) my washing machine in on one, which makes it easier to move the clothes to the dryer at the same level, 2.) I am a senior citizen and a DAV (disabled american veteran) with arthritis in my lower back and both of my knees, so the bending down and getting back up part is very painful and difficult. It is much easier and convenient when the washer and dryer are at a more even level. So, there you have it. An easy to use, no frills dryer, clean the lint filter and the gap on the door regularly and you (and I) should be happy with this dryer for a very long time, fingers crossed. I have include photos of the door with the gap that I mentioned, instument panel, the lint trap with the screen partially out so you can see where it goes, then with the screen inside with the door closed also showing the interior of the dryer, and lastly the front of the dryer. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision prior to making your purchase.

Large capacity, quick and efficient, with multiple options for how dry you would like your items. Installation was a breeze, and I am so pleased with this purchase. Our last Dryer took probably three hours to dry a large load, this product takes about an hour. Couldn’t be happier. Also, I’ve had noisy dryers, this is much quieter than I expected it to be. Also, there is a smart diagnosis feature which I think is very helpful in the event that there are issues with performance. I find this to be a hopeful bonus feature.

Needed a new dryer. Went to compare pricing and quality. Shipped Best Buy, Lowes and Home Depot. Hands down Best Buy on price and qality! Will be purchasing the matching washer when necessary. The dryer is quiet, efficient and you have the option of sensor drying AND timed drying!

This is the 4th LG dryer I have purchased for rental properties. It is easy to use and very quiet. My tenants are able to easily use this machine. I use dryer balls and a dry towel and I can dry a load in less than 20 minutes.

I’m absolutely thrilled with my new LG dryer! Not only does it look incredibly sleek and modern in my laundry room, but its performance is top-notch. It dries clothes quickly and efficiently without overheating or damaging delicate fabrics. The intuitive controls are user-friendly, and the various drying options make it easy to customize each load. I also love how quiet it is during operation—it’s a game-changer for busy households. If you’re looking for a dryer that combines style, functionality, and great drying power, this LG model is the one to get. Highly recommended!

Great buy. I was skeptical because I had a 32 year old sears Kenmore dryer with a history of only one service call 20 years ago. I thought it had served its time so I let it go and I love my new LG! It is quiet, has a very large drum, has energy saving settings and is so QUICK!! I also like the placement of the lint trap, since it doesn't rain lint onto the machine from the top down, but is secured in the door. I am gratified that I got more than I bargained for in the best way!

It is sleek and not overly bulky while still having a good large capacity. It is very quiet and easy to use. The only thing I don’t like is the eco setting is standard and you must bypass it every cycle

This dryer is very efficient . Also drys really fast and I also noticed I get a good amount of lent in the lent trap so the dryer gets a lot of lent out of my clothes. Overall if you want a reliable dryer a LG is the way to go.

This dryer is fairly quiet, seems well built, and it’s super easy to operate. I’ve done loads with jeans and towels, and everything I’ve thrown in it has come out nice and dry. Im also amazed at how large the drum is and how you can throw in a huge load and everything still comes out dry. I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend.

we originally bought a Samsung (more expensive model). That one was dead on arrival. Found out they have this issue often with Samsung. We switched our order to this LG. Very happy with it. It works great.

OMG I am so excited about my dryer, it is so quiet and I love the tune it plays when it finishes drying, knocks out all the wrinkles and the time seems to go so faster than my old dryer. Thanks for the great delivery service and product purchase.

Great product this replaced a Samsung Dryer. My wife very please with operation of the unit and the dry cycles on the controls. We do miss the interior light which i think should be standard equipment on all dryers.
