Love the AI setting and the steam fresh. Most cycles don't run as long . Saving money

So far, the dryer works great. It has an AI feature that adjusts the drying time based on the weight and materials of the clothes. You can connect your dryer to your LG app and navigate it remotely.

I replaced my 9 year old [LG built] Kenmore with this dryer. I am very happy with my choice. The controls are easy to use. The dryer is quick.

Now granted, we had our Kenmores for 12 years when it started having issues, so we reached out to Consumer Reports and investigated our options between several models, but I have to say that if the LG dryer is anything like the LG refrigerator and dishwasher we purchased in the spring, then we can't go wrong with our new washer and dryer by the same company. I have been running our loads for the past several days, and we are thrilled with the unit's size, the drum's capacity, and the slick front display dashboard.

Dryer was reasonably priced, and features are good for the price. Dryer covers all the bases. Haven't tried the "AI" mode yet, but all the standard settings are there. The machine functions as expected, I just hope it ends up being a reliable machine.

I love the product…I however didn’t like the fact that Best Buy wrote it up as a side by side when I clearly stated I wanted it stackable and left it to me to fix.

I had purchased replacement washer/dryers with the intent o, at the very least, increasing capacity in each. I think I succeeded there, but this dryer can't necessarily dry the larger loads the washer can handle - at least not within a reasonable time. If it matters to you, this drier looks kind of plain. I don't know, it just lacks some character of older models. Ours are in the basement so it doesn't really matter. I will say that after some experimentation, the 'AI' option does work very well. At this point, I just pick that by default. Nothing has come out over dried or damp. The lint trap is of a design I have not come across yet. It's more like a small basket which I would guess will capture lint better, but there's a few issues. I don't know how long it will last, due to having a plastic catch. The fine mesh seems to hang onto shorter dog hair. Regardless , you're going to want to clean this EVERY load. Maybe there's a way to do it, but I'd like to be able to set certain defaults, like Wrinkle Care. I never understood why this isn't on by default. The ThinQ app is...busy, but it's very nice to have a drier that tells me when it's done so I don't have to go down and check. I have not tried the steam function, though assuming it works like my previous LG (which had a reservoir to fill instead of inline), it is a nice feature to have. Make sure that if you plan on using this, that you purchase the required hardware (or the installers will try to charge you at the time).

I’ve had this dryer for a little over a month now and it’s been great so far. The large 7.4 cu. ft. capacity easily handles big loads like towels, bedding, and bulky clothing without needing to split them up. Everything comes out evenly dry thanks to the AI Sensor Dry feature, which seems to do a good job adjusting the time automatically so clothes aren’t over-dried. The steam function is also really useful. I’ve used it a few times to refresh clothes and help reduce wrinkles, and it saves me from having to iron as much. The dryer runs pretty quietly and the controls are simple to use. I also like the smart features. Being able to check the cycle or get notifications through the app is convenient, especially if I’m in another part of the house. Overall, it feels well built, dries efficiently, and has a lot of helpful features. After a month of regular use, I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a large, reliable gas dryer.

We have exclusively used Samsung appliances in our house (kitchen, washer & dryers) for a long time but have had numerous quality problems and decided to go with LG. Besides all new LG kitchen appliances bought recently, we also just bought a LG washer and dryer. Speaking about the dryer only, it is the nicest looking and best performing dryer we have ever had. Very smooth running and extremely quiet plus an array of drying features to choose from.
