Q: Does the dryer come with everything needed to connect it like the cable
A: Regardless of brand or manufacturer, power cords ARE NOT supplied with Electric Dryers, except for one or two brands, and must be purchased separately. An electric dryer can use either of 2 types of power cords: a 3-prong or a 4-prong power cord. Old electric dryers use 3-prong cords whereas new ones use the 4-prong variants. If the cord type does not match the power outlet at your home, the dryer will not work. If your house was built in the mid-’90s, before January 1, 1996, then your house most probably fits with a 3-prong power outlet for the dryer. But if it’s built after January 1,1996, then according to the National Electrical Code (NEC)’s mandate, your house has a 4-prong power outlet installed. You can check your local building codes and regulations, consult your local building inspector, or a qualified, licensed electrician, about whether you can connect a 30-amp, 240-volt, 3-wire, or 4-wire, UL-listed power cord with #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturned ends, to the dryer's terminal block, which must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes. (The circuit must be fused on both sides of the line.). Ductwork and fittings are NOT included and must be purchased separately...^Ivan.
Q: recently purchased, and it takes hours to dry, what is going on?
A: Maybe check your ducts mine did the same the first day it was my air flow in the ducts . If it’s not that maybe contact customer service!
Q: Does it have to go with the stackable washer or can it be used by itself?
A: It can be used as a stand alone.
Q: Does this model have a drying rack that I can purchase?
A: Hello, Mzmelis. The optional Drying Rack, Part # 3750EL1001A for the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.4 cu. Ft. Ultra Large Capacity Electric Dryer, Model # DLE3400W can be ordered directly from lgparts.com...^Ivan.

A: Hi there, Starsa. Thank you for reaching out. We understand your concern regarding the dimensions for the LG DLE3470W Electric Dryer and LG WM3470W Washer. The DLE3470W dryer has a depth of 30 1/8" and a depth of 51 3/8" with the door open. On the other hand, the WM3470W washer has a depth of 28" with the door open, which is listed as 43 7/8" when considering the pedestal's depth. The difference in depth comes from the fact that the dryer is a front-loading unit with a deeper door swing, while the washer typically has a slightly shorter door swing due to its design. The pedestal under the washer further affects its total depth measurement with the door open. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-dle3470w-electric-dryer#pdp_specs If you need further clarification or assistance with the dimensions or installation, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be happy to assist you. —Renzo

I’ve been really impressed with this LG dryer so far. The 7.4 cu. ft. capacity is perfect—it easily handles large loads, including bulky blankets and bedding, without feeling cramped. The wrinkle care feature has been a game-changer; clothes come out looking smooth and fresh, even if I can’t grab them right away. It runs quietly and dries efficiently, which has already saved me time compared to my old unit. I also love that it’s stackable, which makes it ideal for tighter laundry spaces without sacrificing capacity. The design is clean and modern, and the controls are simple to use—straightforward without being overwhelming. Overall, this dryer feels like a big upgrade. If you’re looking for something reliable, efficient, and easy to live with, I’d definitely recommend this model.

I am very happy with the purchase of LG electrical dryer with its excellent features & it looks good with the LG Thin Q washer I brought 6 months back. The dryer noise is very much in control & good to the ears while running . The best part of this dryer is the energy saving with quick drying saving utility costs. I expect a quick ROI on this purchase .Awesome device !
